Equal Justice

We have been told by the presidents of at least two nations recently that we are engaged in a "War of Civilizations." It is not merely a "War on Terror," but a collision of civilizations. Of course, by this, the president of Iran includes religion, for he wants to rally Islam itself to his side in the dispute. The American president, on the other hand, tries hard to counter this by telling us it is simply a war of good vs. evil.

Civilization is the way in which a society manages creation. At the root of it is its system of justice, which governs all fair exchange, morality, and the execution of laws to maintain balance. If the custodians of justice in any civilization administer their duties apart from love, they will undermine the foundations of civilization itself. In other words, true justice is not possible in any situation apart from love in some form.

If administrators love, and the laws reflect love, then civilization will flourish. Administrators ideally should have the love of God, which is called agape in the New Testament Greek. When the laws are a reflection of agape, they bring justice back into balance and restore the natural order. This type of love is called phileo in the Greek. Judicial love brings fairness and balance.

When justice seeks deterrence at the expense of fairness and balance, it begins to break down into injustice, causing heart bitterness, that great crime motivator. Injustice causes crime rates to increase, which in turn gives politicians more food for their "tough on crime" campaigns. It becomes a vicious circle.

In the realm of international politics and law, justice is equally important, for when justice breaks down, wars (international crime) become inevitable. Power and force may prevent the injured parties temporarily from warring against the unjust nation, but the day of reckoning always takes place in the end.

I have shown in other writings how America and the world has been dominated by the biblical "Mystery Babylon" for many years. This prophetic entity achieved its full power in America in early 1914 when the Federal Reserve Act was signed into law by President Wilson after being passed in late 1913. This date just happened to be 2,520 years after the original city of Babylon threw off the yoke of Assyria and became an independent power in 607 B.C.

Babylon is a system of power and force, and it learned its principles of law from the Roman Empire--the fourth phase of Babylon's succession of empires. That is why all legal terms are expressed in Latin. The legal system of Babylon began to alter the American system of Constitutional Law and changed us from a democratic Republic to a Democracy manipulated by elite guardians of society who are skilled in giving the people the illusion of self-rule.

It is no coincidence that the first public relations firm was established in 1913 at the same time the Federal Reserve Act was moving its way through Congress. Edward Bernays, the legendary father of public relations, wrote a book called Crystallizing Public Opinion, the Engineering of Consent and Propaganda. Being good friends with Sigmund Freud, Edward married Sigmund's sister, Anna.

Bernays was good at creating illusions and perceptions in the minds of the people, and his methods now permeate nearly all politics and business advertising. The government itself soon realized its potential and created its own office of public relations, which I call the Office Of Federal Disinformation Administration, or OOFDA, as we like to say in Minnesota.

The point is that Babylonian control rests upon its "Mystery" aspect--that is, secret, hidden agendas made palatable by public relations firms who have learned to speak a second language that George Orwell called Doublespeak. This language is designed to create illusion to replace reality, and perceptions to replace truth.

But getting back to international justice, the first world war was fought to make the world safe for Democracy--not our Republic. The Treaty of Versailles after the war deliberately created an unjust situation against Germany by forcing upon them terms of peace that were devastating to that nation's economy and enslaving to the German people. It was a policy of getting tough on international crime, much like a deterrence policy, rather than truly establishing a just order based upon principles of love.

And so this sowed the seeds of further upheaval, which ultimately resulted in World War II. After this war, Jewish interests succeeded in gaining enough world sympathy to seize the land of Palestine. In that case, Palestinian people were unjustly driven from their lands and hundreds of their villages were bulldozed and dismantled in order to remove every trace of their former existence. Though Palestinians were not at fault for any atrocities done to Jews during World War II, their lands were seized by Jews as self-awarding war reparations.

Many Christians, who were focused upon prophecy rather than upon justice, became avid supporters of injustice in the name of God. They certainly must have been aware that this would ultimately lead to "Armageddon," because all injustice leads to war. But their misunderstanding of the mind of God and prophecy made them think that God loved Jews more than He loved Palestinians. A double standard was created in the mind of the Church based upon racial superiority and unequal justice.

This type of religious thinking also allowed Christians to justify whatever a Jew might do to a Palestinian on the grounds that Palestinians should have allowed themselves to be homeless and without a country in order to please God. Thus, their present plight is thought to be their own fault. A Jew may steal, murder, or even torture a Palestinian with impunity, and when someone like me dares to object to it, they are certain that God will curse me for cursing the Jews.

Well, I do not really care what Christians think about me. I am secure in my relationship with Christ, and I know what the Bible teaches on both prophecy and justice. I know that there are countless things that divide people, and I know that love is the basis of all unity and relationships. I know that nations are like people, and when nations promote injustice through lack of love, it divides nations and can cause war that kills people and destroys property.

I also know that America's foreign policy has long supported the injustice inherent in the seizure of land from Palestinian families. Presidents have made some attempt to tell the Israelis to stop building new settlements on Palestinian land, but they have made no serious attempt to stop it. And so the problem has festered. And now we are faced with a "War of Civilizations," based upon two differing views of justice and how to manage creation.

Neither side is totally right, but in the core issue that started this whole downward slide, America is on the wrong side of the divine law. Instead of repenting, we have simply used force to impose our will upon unwilling people. The day of reckoning is approaching, and we need to be ready with the true alternative to the warring civilizations. That alternative is the Kingdom of God.
