By the Hezekiah Factor, we declared the Jubilee on September 23, 1996 (the Day of Atonement, or Jubilee). I think I should explain this briefly for those of you who have not read my book, Secrets of Time.
Israel and Judah divided into two nations in 931 B.C. in a revolt over high taxes without representation (1 Kings 12). At least, that was the surface reason that was in the minds of the people. Of course, God engineered this, as explained in 1 Kings 11, because of Solomon's sin of idolatry in his later years.
Samaria, the capital of Israel, fell in 721 B.C., precisely 210 years after Israel had revolted from Judah (931 B.C.). The date of Samaria's fall in 721 B.C. also happened to coincide with the 14th Jubilee from Israel's Jordan crossing under Joshua. Thus, what should have been celebrated as a year of release (Jubilee) became instead the year of captivity and final deportation to Assyria. The number 14 means "release," but in this case God "released" Israel from their marriage to God by divorcing them and then sending them out of the house.
As I have shown previously, Israel had begun to be deported 24 years earlier in 745 B.C., and in long-term prophecy this date began the 2,520-year cycle of Israel's scattering, which did not come to an end until the year 1776, when those tribes were regathered in a new land, America.
This 2,520-year cycle is not only 7 x 360 (i.e., 7 "times" in prophecy), but it is also 12 x 210 years. Viewed in this way, we can see that each tribe received its portion of judgment in terms of 210 years, which is the factor of "the time of Jacob's trouble." Jacob himself had two times of trouble, each 21 years long, and when applied on a national scale, it was fulfilled in two periods of 210 years each.
Thus, the 21 years of Jacob's separation from Joseph was fulfilled in the 210 years of the Divided Kingdom, where Joseph, the northern house of Israel, was separate from Judah (931-721 B.C.).
But there is this long-term prophetic cycle of 12 x 210 years that is of particular interest to us now, for it ended in 1776. It is as if each of the 12 tribes was judged with 210 years of scattering. Then in 1776 God judged King George III by causing the Americans to revolt over high taxes! It was a virtual repeat of the biblical problem. This tells us that America's revolt was successful, not because Americans were so righteous, but because God was judging King George like He had judged Solomon.
God re-ran the ancient problem again in order to give the modern nations opportunity to overcome this problem.
Now, we know that actually there were 13 tribes in Israel, if one takes Levi into account. So look at our history. There were 12 periods of 210 years that had come to an end in 1776, but the 13th period of 210 brings us to the year 1986--the 120th Jubilee from Adam! This final 210-year period of division between Britain and America runs directly parallel to the 210 years of Israel's division from Judah. Further, even as Israel's 210-year division ended on their 14th Jubilee, so also America's 210-year division ended on the 120th Jubilee from Adam.
Do you see the historical parallel here? It is remarkable. But now comes the Hezekiah Factor.
Assyria conquered Samaria in 721 B.C., while Hezekiah was ruling the southern house of Judah in Jerusalem. Samaria fell in Hezekiah's 6th year (2 Kings 18:10). King Hezekiah saw the fall of Israel and no doubt knew that he was next in line for conquest. Sure enough, eight years later, in Hezekiah's 14th year (2 Kings 18:13) the Assyrians came to Judah and laid siege to Jerusalem. This was the year 713 B.C.
Hezekiah prayed and sent word to Isaiah, who was in the city at the time (2 Kings 19:2). Isaiah sent word to the king that God was going to turn back the Assyrians. The sign to prove this is given in 2 Kings 19:29-31. It is a Jubilee sign. It said that they would not sow or reap until the third year. The Jubilee year was the 50th year, which followed the normal sabbath year (49th year), and hence there were two years in a row where the people were not to sow or reap.
Thus, the sign given was the fact that Jerusalem was forced to observe a sabbath year and a Jubilee before sowing or reaping in the third year. God enforced it by the hand of the Assyrians. These three years are 713, 712, and 711 B.C. The release came in 711, which was 10 years after the 14th Jubilee (721).
This strange biblical type shows that God forced Israel to hold a Jubilee ten years late! How could He do so? The answer is found in the next chapter, 2 Kings 20, where, in the midst of the siege, Hezekiah became deathly ill. The prophet Isaiah came to him and at first told him to get his house in order, because he was going to die. The king, however, appealed to God, because he had no heir to the throne. In fact, there was no one to succeed him in the lineage to the Messiah, who was to come 700 years later. So God granted him another 15 years, during which time his son, Manasseh, was born.
God gave Hezekiah another sign by which he would know that he was healed and had been given an extension of life. The sign was that God would reverse the course of the sun 10 degrees on the sun dial, which Hezekiah's father, Ahaz, had built in the court yard. In other words, God would turn the clock back 10 degrees (literally "steps" on the dial).
When we apply this precedent to the situation today, we see that the Jubilee was to be declared in 1986, but no one did so--even as no one did so in 721 B.C. in ancient Israel. In 1986, because the Church had rejected the call to intercession and prayer, the revelation of timing was not given, so they did not know to declare the Jubilee in 1986. Instead, God called the NEW Net of Prayer in 1991, and because the overcomers responded, the revelation of timing was given.
Thus, we were led to declare the Jubilee in 1996, which was technically 10 years late, but God turned the clock back 10 steps (years) by a manipulation of Time. So 1996 was really 1986 by this legal maneuver by the Lord of Time. Thus, when we declared the Jubilee in 1996, it was as if we had done so retroactively to 1986.
The year 1996 was 220 years after 1776, when America split from Britain over high taxes, even as Hezekiah had received his Jubilee 220 years after the split in the Kingdom over high taxes.
I'm really not making this up.
The focal point of revelation actually occurred on Oct. 2, 1994. That is when God revealed the Hezekiah Factor. I had just arrived in Winnipeg, Manitoba to speak at a conference. The date is significant because we had seen this as a "watch date" two months earlier on August 2, 1994.
October 2, 1994 was precisely 8 x 153 days after May 28, 1991, when God said to establish the new Net of Prayer. I wrote about this in yesterday's blog. The Net of Prayer is a prophetic name referencing the two occasions by which Jesus' disciples cast their nets into the lake and caught a huge school of fish. On the first occasion, the nets broke (Luke 5:6). On the second occasion (after Jesus' resurrection), the nets held 153 large fish (John 21:11) without breaking.
The number 153 is the gematria of "the sons of God" in Hebrew (beni h'elohim). The Greek term for "the nets" has a gematria of 8 x 153. Likewise, the Greek term for "the fishes" has a gematria of 8 x 153.
Thus, when we established the NEW Net of Prayer (i.e., the second net) in the post-Pentecostal era, it was done on May 28, 1991, and precisely 8 x 153 days later came the revelation of the Hezekiah Factor. Incredibly, this date was also 490 days after the end of the Pentecostal Era (May 30, 1993).
