The Prophecy of Manasseh--Part 1

Once the battle was won on March 29, 2008, the Pentecost Church appeared to be out of options. Like the First Church in old Jerusalem, the Second Church had failed to fulfill its calling to bring righteousness to the earth via the Abrahamic blessing. The heavens were witness to many attempts to circumvent the decree whereby God had rejected "Saul" and had chosen in his place "a man after His own heart" (1 Sam. 13:14).

When the final decree was made in the Divine Court to establish The Third Church (Nov. 30, 2007), the Saul Church attacked us on March 10, 2008, attempting to rob us of this divine calling. When they lost even this battle on March 29, it appears that they were left with no further options. The way is now open for the Open Door Ministry, which is also identified as Operation Elijah.

In Mark 9:11 and 12, we read,

" (11) And they asked Him, saying, 'Why is it that the scribes say that Elijah must come first?' (12) And He said to them, 'Elijah does first come and restore all things'. . ."

Peter referred to this in Acts 3:20 and 21, saying,

" (20) and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you, (21) whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time."

There is, then, a time of "restoration" that the Elijah company must fulfill before Christ can return. I believe that we are now about to enter this time. At the feast of Tabernacles this year, held in Sweetwater, TN, the revelation came forth that this would actually begin at Passover of 2009. Sweetwater is located just a few miles from the headquarters used during the Trail of Tears, where the Cherokee were forced to move to Oklahoma.

Last June, when I was speaking to the United Tribes meeting in Oklahoma, it was revealed that there was to be a reverse pattern for the Trail of Tears, going from Oklahoma to Sweetwater, TN. This was accomplished by the brethren in October as they traveled to the Tabernacles meeting in Sweetwater. Along the way they planted barley, which had been given as a tithe by a man attending the Pine Haven conference just north of Minneapolis in late August of this year.

This "barley" planting told me that the prophetic events would "ripen" at Passover in April 2009, or perhaps specifically on April 12, 2009, which is the time of the Wave-sheaf offering.

Looking at the bigger picture, keep in mind that all of this is the outworking of the seventh bowl of wine and water poured out in Babylon, NY in October of 2006. From Babylon, we drove to Reading, PA, where we held our conference at the Abraham Lincoln Hotel, located a few blocks north of the spot where most of the Indian treaties were made in the early days. So the primary themes being revealed have to do with setting the people free from "Babylon," and there is also a strong "Lincoln" connection as well, who is known for the Emancipation Proclamation setting the slaves free in the 1860's.

On August 1, 2008, my lease ran out on my Pacifica, and I traded it in for a three-year-old Lincoln which happened to be available.

On the day before the elections, Obama held his final rally at Manassas, VA, the site of the first major battle of the Civil War on July 21, 1861. Obama had begun his presidential campaign on Feb. 10, 2007 at Springfield, Illinois, the home town of President Lincoln. In his acceptance speech, Obama referenced Lincoln many times. Regardless of what we might think of either Lincoln or Obama, all of these are signs pointing to the great Emancipation Proclamation that God is making over us today to set us free from Babylon.

It is also interesting that James is being led to host his Passover conference April 10-12, 2009 at Manassas, VA. It will be the time of the ripening of the barley, and we look forward to seeing what further revelations the Father has in store for this conference.

Manassas is, of course, the Greek spelling of the name Manasseh, son of Joseph. His name means "forgetfulness," for we read in Gen. 41:51,

"And Joseph named the firstborn Manasseh, 'For,' he said, 'God has made me forget all my trouble and all my father's household'."

His name was prophetic of events that were to occur many years later. When God dispersed the House of Israel into Assyria, the people became known later as "the lost tribes of Israel." In other words, they FORGOT their father's household. At the same time, they also fulfilled the prophecy of Ephraim, the younger brother of Manasseh, whose name means "fruitful." Hosea 1:10 says,

"Yet the number of the sons of Israel will be like the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or numbered; and it will come about that in the place where it is said to them, 'You are not My people,' it will be said to them, 'You are the sons of the living God'."

In the outworking of this prophecy of Ephraim and Manasseh, the prophet related it to the concept of Sonship, which is, of course, the essence of the Birthright that had been given to Joseph. Gen. 49:22 says, "Joseph is a fruitful bough" [ben, "SON"]. As I wrote in my book, The Struggle for the Birthright, this past century has seen a struggle to determine who is truly called to hold the Birthright--that is, who is truly called to become the manifested sons of God.

This struggle is now coming to a head. In one sense, the Jews claim to be God's chosen people, calling the name of their Zionist state, "Israel." Many Church denominations agree with this, but many believe that their "Saul" Church is the inheritor of the Birthright. In my view, the overcomers are the true Israelites who will inherit the first resurrection and become the manifested sons of God.

Manasseh's "forgetfulness" is about to be overcome. True Israel is about to be revealed, both on a physical and on a spiritual level. So it is significant that Manassas, VA is popping up now, after establishing the Third Church and successfully defending by spiritual warfare last March. True Israel on the higher level, will be made up of those who are "fruitful" (Ephraim). Babylon's "fruitfulness" was their Euphrates River, represented today by their money and banking system. This is now collapsing, because the true Ephraimite-Israelites are emerging as the ones truly called to "be fruitful and multiply" (Gen. 1:28).

We have fought a war on two fronts since 1993, because there have been two main contenders for the Birthright--the Church and the Jews. I believe that both of them have already been defeated in the heavens, and we are now seeing them cast out in the earth. Again, keep in mind that I am speaking corporately, not individually. The Church SYSTEM and the Banking SYSTEM have been disqualified from ruling in the Age to come, but this indicates that the PEOPLE who have been kept in bondage by those systems are about to be released into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. This may be traumatic for many of them, but in the long run, they will be pleased with the result.
