Competing Beasts Prepare the Way for the Kingdom

The current financial crisis, I believe, is a primary symptom of the collapse of Mystery Babylon. I have written often of this. However, the mechanism of this collapse appears to be a financial war between two major powers on the world scene. It is this conflict, largely unreported in the news media, that is the manner in which God is using both sides for His purposes.

I have shown how the story of Gideon is a good example of how God causes His opposition to fight amongst themselves. We see the same thing in Rev. 17:16, 17,

" ¹⁶ And the ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the harlot and will make her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh and will burn her up with fire. ¹⁷ For God has put it in their hearts to execute His purpose by having a common purpose, and by giving their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God should be fulfilled."

The "beast" in this case is identified in verse 11 as the one who "was and is not." In other words, it is the same as Rev. 13:3, "and I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed."

Revelation 13, of course, is an expansion of the "little horn" of Daniel 7. Whereas Daniel only had revelation about a single beast called the "little horn," John expands upon this and shows that there is actually another beast after the 1,260 "days" (years) of the "little horn."

The Roman Church is the "little horn" arising out of the collapsed Roman Empire (476 A.D.). It came to full power in 529 when the Emperor Justinian replaced the entire system of Roman Law with Orthodox Christian law. The Emperors then became the ENFORCERS of Church law, making the emperors the unwitting servants of the Church. It is doubtful if Justinian understood the consequences of his actions.

Anyway, the legal supremacy of the Church ran a full 1,260 years (prophetic 42 months) from 529 -1789, when the "beast from the earth" began to rise up to challenge the Church for supremacy. This new beast was the one advocating "secular government" in order to gain power for their own hidden masters. To accomplish their goal, though, they had to break the power of the Roman Church. In 1789 they fomented the French Revolution in order to take France out from the sphere of Church control.

France was known as "the firstborn of the Church," so this was no small blow to the Church. The revolutionaries were led by men calling themselves "Illuminati," or Enlightened Ones. They had infiltrated the Masonic Order in Europe during the 1780's through whom they accomplished their revolution.

This new secular power was financed largely by Jewish bankers who also had an interest in reducing the power of the Church. The Rothchilds soon took the lead in this, and in 1798 two important events occurred: (1) Nathan Rothschild was sent to London to begin taking control of British finance; and (2) Napoleon took the Pope captive and threatened to extinguish the Papacy altogether.

Sixty years later, the Popes lost the Papal States when Italy was united as a secular Republic, backed by the Masonic Order there. The Pope was allowed to have authority only within the Vatican itself, where the popes sulked for the next 70 years (1860-1930). They finally emerged in the 1920's when they made the Lateran Treaty of 1929 with Mussolini.

By this treaty, they were recompensed $90 million for the Papal States that they had lost. They used this money to establish the Vatican Bank, realizing that the only way to regain power was to fight the money power with money of their own. The Vatican backed both Mussolini and Hitler in order to fight the threat of Communism, which they saw as their greatest danger.

In WW2 the battle was between two ideologies, or forms of government. The first was Fascism or Nazi-ism, representing the "right wing." The second was Democracy-Socialism-Communism, representing the "left wing." It can also be viewed as a conflict between Christian (Catholic) government and secular government. The alliances on both sides are complex and diverse, but in general, this is how the two beasts of Rev. 13 are manifested in today's world.

It is no longer a conflict between Nazi and Communist system. These sides have been replaced by milder forms of ideology, designed to appeal to greater numbers of voters. In America, the secular, socialistic "left wing" powers now work through the Democratic Party, while the Christian (Catholic) Fascists now work through the Republican Party. Both, of course, have moved toward the middle as much as they can in order to appeal to greater numbers of people. Hence, they abandoned the use of the terms "Fascist" and "Communist." Nonetheless, one can still see the underlying remnants of these in the Party platforms.

We are now coming to the final showdown between these two beasts in order to prepare the way for a third power called The Kingdom of God.

I have no doubt that these royal families (42 of them) still have a lot of money. The fact that they lost their kingdoms does not mean that they lost their money. A series of financial treaties was signed beginning in 1921 and culminating in 1944 with the Bretton Woods Agreement that made the US Dollar the world reserve currency. This was decided because America had the most gold to back up their currency, and the royals allowed the nations to use their gold as well to help stabilize the world economy.

Bretton Woods apparently was a 50-year agreement, ending in 1994, at which time the royal families decided not to renew the agreement, but to take back control of their gold. They instituted the Office of International Treasury Control (OITC) on January 20, 1995, giving His Excellency (H.E.) Dr. Ray C. Dam full control over this wealth. I do not know who he is, other than that he is said to have been born in Cambodia in 1950.

The OITC was then fully operational 8 years later by January 20, 2003. The funds are known as The Global Debt Facility and also known as the accounts of the "International Collateral Combined."

The conflict apparently is in the fact that the old fund managers under the Bretton Woods agreement do not want to give up those funds, because they have been using them to make money and exercise control of the financial system of the world. The royals involved in this are claiming them in the World Court, and to generate support among the public, they claim that they intend to use those funds for the benefit of the world. It is said that they want to pay off public and private debt and, in essence, declare a Jubilee. I am skeptical, of course, because I see them as part of the beast from the sea, fighting the beast from the earth.

Since much of this is secret, not much is known to the public. Certainly, I do not claim to know all about it. But I have followed this to some extent for a number of years. It is claimed (by them) that the release of these Collateral accounts is being held up by rival powers, mostly in America, and that this accounts for the collapse of the financial system in the world today. How much of that is true, I cannot say, but from a biblical perspective, I would expect to see competing beasts prepare the way for the Kingdom of God.
