On Dec. 4, 2009 I and others were invited to speak at a conference in Dallas. (This was not my conference, but I was an invited speaker.) Because it was scheduled to begin on the anniversary of my Las Cruces "crucifixion" experience in 1981, I wondered if perhaps this might be the start of another 13-month cycle similar to the one from Dec. 4, 1981 to Jan. 30, 1983.
If so, then the cycle ought to end on Jan. 30, 2011.
Events have proven this to be the case, but now I am seeing that there is an extension of similarity with February of 1983, perhaps going on into April. Back in 1983, I was yet unaware of the 76-day cycles, though even then I was already experiencing them in my own life. It's just that 76 had no meaning to me at the time. The second 76-day cycle in 1983 extended from Jan. 23 to April 9, during which time I was sent on a "30-day Reconciliation Trip" on March 10, 1983.
This year, of course, we have a conference scheduled for March 11-13 at the San Francisco Airport's DoubleTree Hotel and will be arriving there on March 10.
So this morning I finally walked over to the book shelf and pulled out my journal for 1983. I wanted to read what I had written in February 1983 to see if there may be clues that would confirm the present revelation.
On Jan. 30, 1983 I had arrived home with the Ryder truck carrying all of our household furniture from Las Cruces, which had been in storage for 13 months. The next day I began a week-long fast. I also received a packet of information from the Net of Prayer, informing me of a prayer battle that was to begin on February 7. It was to be my first experience in an organized group prayer campaign.
On Feb. 4, 1983 the Lord spoke to me saying, "Open the Bible and start reading." I opened it to Psalm 81 and began to read it aloud:
"Sing for joy to God our strength; Shout joyfully to the God of Jacob. Raise a song, strike the timbrel, the sweet sounding lyre with the harp."
This had relevance in 1983, of course, because I had just been set free from a lengthy wilderness experience (414 days). But does this mean anything in 2011? Yes, it does. I believe it has reference to the Prayer of the New Creation Man, which came to me Feb. 5 and was posted on the 6th. At our Bible Study last night, people told how their churches seemed to be transformed on Feb. 5. At one church, the whole meeting turned out to be a 2-hour praise fest, singing and shouting joyfully to the God of Jacob. The sermon was canceled when the Holy Spirit took over.
Mike from Nebraska emailed today to tell me that he had had a dream Monday morning just before I posted the "Prayer." He said, "We had a very important thing to do." In the dream it was a "Call to Order" with the word "Attention!"
So I think it is fair to connect my 7-day fast on Feb. 1-7, 1983 with this Prayer of the New Creation Man. I think that I was unknowingly praying and fasting for this event as early as 1983.
Continuing in my journal from 1983, I wrote this:
"[Psalm 81] began by instructing me to rejoice and sing. I did not understand why. Then it spoke of Passover and the time when the Death Angel went throughout the land of Egypt. . . By verse 7 I realized that this chapter also applied to me. 'You called in trouble, and I rescued you; I answered you in the hiding place of thunder[i.e., the voice of God]; I proved you at the waters of Meribah'[bitterness]."
This portion of my journal has proven to be most applicable to 2011. On February 1 (the anniversary of the start of my 7-day fast in 1983), I experienced "the waters of Meribah" personally once again. It was a manifestation of the "bitter herbs" eaten at the time of Passover (Ex. 12:8). It was all good, of course, because even bitter herbs are nutritious. (They usually use parsley or horseradish.)
Back in 1983, when I read Psalm 81, the waters of Meribah had a different application. But whether then or now, it is plain that such experiences cause us to grow spiritually as we overcome the inner conflicts and emotional hurts. These "fiery darts" are stopped by the shield of faith (Eph. 6:16), because faith comes by hearing the word.
So we continue to see signs of the Passover season. We should now watch February 14 as well, because if January 14 was Passover (1/14), then February is the Second Passover (2/14) as explained in Numbers 9:9-14. We may see an echo effect of Passover in mid-February. If so, then we ought to watch Feb. 14-16 on account of the third day resurrection from Passover.
Feb. 14, 2011 is the anniversary of the Latter Rain movement which began on that date in 1948.
Likewise, Feb. 14 is the 490th day from the vessels of the temple being filled (Oct. 13, 2009). Recall that this occurred prophetically in Pensacola while I was at brother Vinnie's house church. It corresponded to the 5th sign of Elisha in 2 Kings 4:1-7). As I was going to the meeting, I had the insight that we might see that 5th sign occur at the meeting. Sure enough, Vinnie used that passage as his text, and afterword, I stood up and said, "I am a vessel that wants to be filled."
The point is that Feb. 14 is the 490th day from Oct. 13, 2009, and Feb. 15 is 490 days FROM Oct. 13, 2009. So these are watch dates for us this month.
My mother died on Feb. 15, 1983. It may well be that the events of 1983 from February to April will recycle again in 2011. So this entire 76-day period leading to the Passover conference (April 22-24) will be interesting to watch.
You may want to review chapter 3 of Hearing God's Voice, as well as the early chapters of The Wars of the Lord dealing with events from 1981-1983. However, keep in mind that the book only summarizes events and will not give many details that I am including here in this weblog. If I had included all the fine details, the book would have been a six-volume set, which is far too big for most people to endure.
