The beast from the earth rises

Political history is, in many ways, the record of men and groups conspiring to control or overthrow others in the quest for power, money, and glory. This is not "conspiracy theory," but plain history, whether it occurs on a local level, national, or global.

Such was also the case in 1776 when Weishaupt formed his secret organization that he calledIlluminati, "the enlightened ones." When it was exposed in 1787, it simply went further underground in a leaner and meaner form. Weishaupt understood the Parasite Principle, whereby a secret organization needed a host to find sustenance. His primary host was (European) Freemasonry, which his men infiltrated and took control by 1782.

This was an obvious choice, because Freemasonry was an above-ground organization with roots in the Templars and Gnostic traditions, as did the Jesuit Order. To this was added the teachings of the Kabbala (or Cabala), from which is derived the term Cabal. The Kabbala was essentially Jewish mysticism that also spawned secretive teachings.

In an age where diverse teachings could get a person killed, many secret organizations were formed. And since the Roman Church was the dominant force through much of the Middle Ages, it was also the main "enemy" that these secret organizations sought to undermine and ultimately to overthrow.

Yet the prophecy in Rev. 13 (and in Daniel 7) gave this "beast from the sea" a specified time of 1,260 "days" (years) to have dominion. Hence, no force succeeded in coming against it until 1789, which was 1,260 years after the Roman Emperor, Justinian, scrapped the entire Roman law system and replaced it with "Orthodox Christian Law" in 529 A.D. The Catholic Encyclopedia says of this new system of law,

"It would be difficult to exaggerate the importance of this 'Corpus.' It is the basis of all canon law (ecclesia vivet romana) and the basis of civil law in every civilized country."

It is also why all legal terms are expressed in Latin, even as all medical terms are expressed in Greek.

Hence, the year 529 marked the final overthrow of Imperial Rome (the iron kingdom of Daniel). Daniel foretold that it would be replaced by the "little horn" (7:25) for "a time, times, and a half a time." John interprets this in Rev. 13:5 as a period of "forty-two months," which is the equivalent (42 x 30) of 1,260 "days."

While the Futurist view has tried to place this into the future and compressed it to just 3-1/2 years of a "Tribulation," a simple study of plain history shows that the iron kingdom of Rome was superseded by the Roman Church for 1,260 years. Yet John tells us more details than Daniel knew. In Revelation 13:3, John shows that the beast from the sea would receive a deadly wound that would be healed, but also that a new beast would arise from the earth (13:11).

The implication is that the Roman Church would recover from its wound, but that a new beast, described in financial and banking terms, would obtain greater dominion. This is what happened in the late 1700's and early 1800's. Weishaupt's Illuminati received funding from certain Jewish banking interests who, some say, were from the Sabbatean sect.

Sabbateans (Sabbatians) is a complex general germ that refers to a variety of followers of, disciples and believers in Sabbatai Zevi (1626-1676), a Jewish rabbi who was proclaimed to be the Jewish Messiah in 1665 by Nathan of Gaza. Vast numbers of Jews in the Jewish diaspora accepted his claims, even after he became a Jewish apostate with his conversion to Islam in 1666. Sabbatai Zevi's followers, both during his "Messiahship" and after his conversion to Islam, are known as Sabbateans.

Zevi's conversion to Islam was a matter of expedience. With half of World Jewry convinced that he was the Messiah, he set sail for Constantinople to overthrow the Sultan, Mehemed IV. He was arrested, of course. According to Jerry Rabow's book, 50 Jewish Messiahs, p. 111,

"Instead, Shabbatai was given an immediate choice: He must either suffer torture and death, or convert to Islam. The Messiah chose conversion. Shabbatai Zevi became Aziz Mehemed Effendi."

Nonetheless, the Sabbatean sect survived through his followers, though it remained largely a Jewish secret society. Hence, when Fulford and others mention the Sabbatean Jews as being behind the current problem, this is the group.

It is said that the Rothschilds are of this group, though I have not seen positive proof of this. Whatever the truth is, we know that the Rothschilds soon dominated world banking. Nathan Rothschild was sent to London in 1798, the same year that Napoleon took the Pope captive in Rome. The Napoleonic War made Nathan extremely wealthy just prior to the Holy Alliance in 1815.

Out of the French Revolution came two major changes in the West. The first was the idea of Revolutionary Socialism, designed to overthrow monarchies that competed with the Illuminati for dominion. Out of this came Communism. The second was Secularism, designed to overthrow the Roman Church. God was to be discredited first by displaying the corruption in the Church, and later by presenting the theory of Evolution as an alternative to Creationism.

These are the issues that were debated in the next Jubilee cycle leading to the Civil War and the National Banking Act of 1863. This Act allowed Lincoln to issue debt-free money known as Greenbacks, instead of borrowing it from the Rothschilds at 24-36% interest. Later, in 1865, an editorial appeared in London saying,

"If this mischievous financial policy, which has its origin in North America, shall become endurated down to a fixture, then that Government will furnish its own money without cost. It will pay off debts and be without debt. It will have all the money necessary to carry on its commerce. It will become prosperous without precedent in the history of the world. The brains, and wealth of all countries will go to North America. That country must be destroyed or it will destroy every monarchy on the globe."

Throughout the 19th century, the Rothschilds consolidated their power and eliminated their competition. This was the rise of the banking "beast from the earth" in Rev. 13:11-18. The "mark" of this second beast is money, particularly paper money. Its purpose was to force everyone to use it in order to "buy or sell" (13:17).

Those who have the mark in their forehead or hand are those who WORSHIP money--not those who simply use it as a currency. 1 Tim. 6:10 tells us that "the LOVE of money is the root of all evil." This system is a lawless system, the opposite of the biblical injunction found in Deut. 11:18,

(18) You shall therefore impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul; and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals on your forehead.

When men's entire motive for work is to acquire money, it can be said that they carry the mark of the beast in their hand and forehead. We, however, have His law written on our hand (physical labor) and our forehead (mental labor).
