On Monday, September 11, 2012, seven of us drove to various parts of the city of Bemidji, Minnesota, to pray, read Scripture, and decree as we were led. The purpose of this trip was primarily to follow up from the prophetic work done at the headwaters of the Mississippi River in April 2007 and in July 2010. The headwaters coming out of Lake Itasca represented the "head," which was supposed to speak the word of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The Mississippi River itself was called on the old Spanish maps, the "River of the Holy Spirit."
This year it was discerned that the previous work at the headwaters was incomplete, partly because, as Isaiah says in 1:5 and 6, "the whole head is sick, and the whole heart is faint. From the sole of the foot even to the head there is nothing sound in it, only burises, welts, and raw wounds, not pressed out or bandaged, nor softened with oil." Furthermore, we discerned that there was a blockage of the flow of the Holy Spirit down river at Bemidji, which is the first city along the river. Our work on September 11 was designed to heal the head and body, as well as to remove the spiritual blockage preventing the Holy Spirit from flowing freely to the body and to the rest of the earth.
Repairing the Breach in the Wall
September 11 was also the 52nd day (inclusive) from July 22, 2012. This Bemidji work was therefore the climax of the work that actually began on July 22. The 52-day period ending on Elul 25 (September 12, 2012) ran parallel to the 52 days it took to repair the walls of Jerusalem in Nehemiah 6:15,
15 So the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty-two days.
Nehemiah repaired the wall of the old Jerusalem. It prophesied of the repair of the wall around the New Jerusalem in our time. What is that wall? It is the law, which keeps unbelievers from entering the city. It also serves to protect the citizens of the New Jerusalem. It is the "wall of fire" in Zechariah 2:5. God Himself is that consuming fire, because the "fiery law" (Deut. 33:2) was an expression of God's mind, will, and character.
When Jerusalem cast aside the law of God, it was compared to the breaking down of the wall of Jerusalem. Jeremiah tells us in Lamentations 2:8 and 9,
8 The Lord determined to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion . . . 9 The law is no more.
Because the people had cast aside the law, God destroyed the wall. There is a spiritual cause for everything that happens on earth.
Our understanding in 2012 is that we are called to rebuild the wall around the New Jerusalem, which, in practical terms, means that we are to put the law back into its proper place after so many years of neglect. I personally received the word that the final "stone" in the wall--a very important key to understanding the entire law--is the Law of Victims' Rights. I was shown by the Spirit that this particular law has been virtually unknown, and yet it is obvious once a person looks for precedents in both the Old Testament and the New. Not understanding this law has done more to bring the divine law itself into disrepute than anything else. Not understanding this law has been the underlying cause of the church's rejection of the law.
I plan to teach on this topic at one of my sessions in St. Louis at the coming Feast of Tabernacles meetings.
On a spiritual level, this particular "stone" was placed in the wall on September 11, 2012 to finish the repair of the breach in the law of God.
