I have mentioned three watch main dates for July, which have come and gone. Each date has been significant in its own way and can be seen as steps toward the fulfillment of the 9th sign of Elisha.
July 9 and 15 marked the 3-year anniversary of the 8th sign of Elisha. July 9 was the first day of Ramadan and the date that the FDIC implemented Basel III requirements on banks. I also read that July 1 was the effective date of Basel III as far as the Fed was concerned, but I don’t have confirmation of that.
Reports say that on July 15 the Iraqi Stock Exchange (ISX) linked to the NASDAQ in America for the first time, so that people in Baghdad's "Green Zone" could trade in America and, presumably, the other way around as well. It was open for two hours, they say. The ISX opened in 2004 but was limited to internal trading with Iraqi businesses. It was done with chalk on blackboards, and even now, trading is limited to 4 hours a day, 3 days a week.
They went electronic back in 2009, but were still unable to link up with international exchanges. Since coming out of Chapter VII, they are now able to do international trading. So July 15 was an important milestone for them.
July 15-22 is also a type of the feast of Tabernacles. The biblical Tabernacles began on the 15th day of the 7th month on the Hebrew calendar. On our calendar we see its prophetic type in July, our 7th month. So we are now in that time frame.
From that perspective, the most promising “barley” watch date is Thursday, July 18, because it correlates to the 4th day of Tabernacles. Why is this significant?
The Gospel of John is built upon eight miracle-signs that Jesus did. These eight signs correlate to the eight days of Tabernacles. The first seven were done prior to His death and resurrection, while the final sign was done afterward. See the last two pages of my book, The Laws of the Second Coming, chapter 7, page 78-80.
The 4th sign in John correlates with the 4th day of Tabernacles. This is the sign where Jesus multiplies the barley loaves (John 6:9) and also mentions the dinar (John 6:7) in its old spelling, denarii. Since this event correlates directly with the 9th sign of Elisha, where the prophet also multiplied the barley loaves (2 Kings 4:42), it seems to be the most promising sign of all up to this point.
So it is likely that we will see something on Thursday. Will it be the actual 9th sign of Elisha? I can’t say for sure, but it is the next watch date. If it goes beyond this date, we should watch Monday, July 22, which is like the 8th day of Tabernacles. If we see nothing in July, then we should consider July to be like September. Right now, I am unaware of any watch dates in August.
