Remember when the existence of the Bilderbergers was just a conspiracy theory? I am old enough to remember those days. Many were ridiculed as crackpots and conspiracy theorists when they tried to expose it. But of course, the more they tried to hide and deny it, the more people believed in those conspiracy theories. People get suspicious of those who try to hide their activities, because it just makes them look guilty.
But how times have changed. There were many protests at those meetings in the early 1990’s, and finally the fakestream press had no choice but to report it. Then in 2011 the Bilderbergers themselves put up an official website acknowledging their existence.
“Dubbed by critics to be a kind of “global shadow government”, and targeted by protesters who picket the meeting, the Bilderberg meeting has had an official website since 2011, and publishes the names of participants in the annual meeting the day before the gathering begins.”
The Bilderbergers began their 2018 annual meeting in Turin, Italy yesterday and will continue through the week end.
Guess who else is attending this year. The Vatican’s Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin. The article above says,
ROME - Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Vatican Secretary of State, will take part in the Bilderberg Conference, an annual private gathering of global political, business and media leaders, taking place this year in Turin, Italy, June 7-10.
Parolin’s name is included in the list of 131 participants in this year’s event.
His participation in the meeting has not been officially announced by the Vatican, though sources within the Secretariat of State have confirmed that he is scheduled to take part in the meeting.
It would be the first time high-ranking Vatican official has taken part in the Bilderberg Conferences….
Parolin’s participation may be an expression of the “culture of the encounter” encouraged by Pope Francis. The pope has often asked officials to engage a dialogue with the world.
Since no one can attend these meetings without a formal invitation, and that no one gets in without being an insider in the Babylonian system, this may explain why the Vatican has not yet officially acknowledged Parolin’s attendance. In fact, I suspect that this is not really the first time a high-ranking Vatican official has attended the meetings. But it is the first public attendance.
The meaning of this is, of course, a matter of opinion.
