The Twins
When I went to Colorado last weekend, I had the opportunity to meet “the twins,” two girls in their early 30’s, the granddaughters of the man whose funeral I was officiating. I had first met the entire family in 1992.
The girls were somewhat unusual in that they often dream together. In other words, they have the same dream and interact with each other in the dream, much like “real life.” Usually, they are on a mission to help or save someone from danger. They have no way of telling how real it is, but it is certainly real to them.
Their mother would often check on them at night, peeking into their room to see that her children were safe and sound, but at times she discovered that the children were gone. She would search the house, of course, but could never find them. When she checked the room again, the twins had reappeared in their beds and were sleeping soundly. Often they returned with bruises and scratches, especially when they had to fight to save someone.
Anyway, even in 1992, when they were just young children, they appreciated the fact that I believed their stories and did not think they were crazy. They journal all of their dreams each morning, so they have written records of their experiences.
In Colorado I asked them if they were still having their dreams. Yes, they said. Things have evolved and developed over the years, but nothing has diminished. They told a few stories of recent “trips” to save some who had prayed to God for help. It seems that these people pray and God sends these girls to bring deliverance.
It’s very unusual, of course, but perhaps some dreams are more real than we realize, and our ministries are not limited to our waking hours. As for myself, I don’t normally remember my dreams, but every so often I am aware that I have been somewhere else overnight. In fact, this is how I first became aware that God would someday send me to minister to Muslims in the Mideast and in other places. So far, I have not entered that phase of ministry.
There are many spiritual experiences that most of us have never experienced. We simply do not know the possibilities that may exist unless we experience them personally or if we hear of the experiences of others. Our fleshly conscious experience is very limited, but we should understand that there is a lot more to life than what we see with our physical eyes. More than that, we know that when we are “changed” (1 Corinthians 15:51), we will no longer be so limited, and even now we see sprinklings of that which is to come more fully later.
I have to be careful how much I share, simply because such things are beyond the grasp of most people. The weblogs reach too many people. But yet I want to stretch you so that you can go beyond that which you know and grow in awareness of greater things that are yet to come.
While the twins were sharing in Colorado, I turned on my cell phone and got a video of most of it. I was then able to show the video to Sharon yesterday at my office. She got very excited, because this was proof that there were others out there who have experienced the same things she has.
The Manifestation of the Sons of God
Paul says in Romans 8:19,
19 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.
The word “revealing” is apokalupsis, which literally means “unveiling.” The Greek word kalupto is a veil. Christ’s flesh was a veil (Hebrews 10:20), because his flesh hid the glory that was in Him. The same is true with us, because 2 Corinthians 4:6, 7 says,
6 For God who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels…
In other words, this “light” is in us like a hidden “treasure in earthen vessels.” Our flesh is a veil that hides the glory of God that is in us. That treasure is actually “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27). It is the New Creation Man that was begotten by the Holy Spirit, and it is the real you—that which you are becoming.
Yesterday, we saw prophetically the manifestation of the sons of God. Sharon went into hard labor in my office and gave birth to twins at 1:53 pm. It was all a spiritual experience, but she went through physical labor as if she were giving birth physically. Fortunately, it only took about a half hour.
When the process of delivery started, she complained about the huge crowd watching—including animals. We realized later, when we put it all together, that this was Romans 8:19, where all of creation was eagerly awaiting the manifestation of the sons of God.
The gematria for “sons of God” in Hebrew (beni h’ Elohim) is precisely 153. So to finally give birth at 1:53 pm (totally unplanned) told us that we were witnessing a prophetic birthing or manifestation of the sons of God.
Afterward, I realized that this occurred on 7/22, which is a type of the 8th day of Tabernacles (on our calendar). In actual prophecy, the birthing of the sons of God will occur on the first day of Tabernacles, and the presentation of the sons must occur on the 8th day, according to the law (Exodus 22:29, 30). After the presentation comes the manifestation of the sons of God, because they are then manifested to the people on earth.
Giving birth to twins was unexpected (pun intended). But it was revealed that the “twins” theme showed us that this was the birthing of Elijah and Elisha, which relates directly to the miracle-signs of Elijah and Elisha. But it was more than just Elijah and Elisha. Sharon also identified it as the birth of Isaac, because in between the labor pains, we had many laughs. When she brought up Isaac, I brought her a copy of the August FFI, which I had just picked up from the printshop earlier that morning. It is entitled: Snapshots of the Kingdom: Isaac.
When all was done and I was able to read some emails, I ran across an email from Vanita in Pennsylvania. She is the one who had broken open double-yoked eggs a few years ago as a revelation of the 9th sign of Elisha. She had seen no more double-yoked eggs for a long time, but suddenly it happened again. Her email was dated July 19, which came while I was in Colorado, which was when I was too busy to look at emails. I finally was able to read her email shortly after the birth of the twins occurred yesterday afternoon. It seems that the timing was perfect!
The bottom line is that yesterday (7/22) we had an important revelation of the manifestation of the sons of God. I take it we are getting close to the actual, historical event that will usher in the Age of Tabernacles. But even before that “big” event, we are seeing evidence that we are being prepared for the “change” and even now are inching toward that change. It is as if we are starting to experience the change in smaller ways—or at least to see the evidence of change in the experiences of others.
One other thing has come out of all this. The twins and Sharon all tell me that when they are in the spirit they can understand all languages. It occurred to me that the baptism of the Holy Spirit, as seen in Acts 2, involved language as well, the ability to speak in languages without language study. What happened in Acts 2 diminished somewhat over the years, because 20 years later, when Paul wrote 1 Corinthians, we find that most of the “tongues” needed interpretation.
When the “change” occurs, it appears that language barriers will be eliminated. Of course, I already believed this, and I wrote of this in my novels: The Anava Chronicles.
