We will not be having the Tabernacles conference in Knoxville next month. Instead, we will be livestreaming it from my office. Some of the sessions will be pre-recorded on video.
There is a lot of talk in various cities in Tennessee where they are pushing to arrest people for first-degree murder if they don’t wear a mask. I don’t know if they will ultimately pass such a bill, but we cannot wait any longer to find out. The conference, after all, is just six weeks away.
There is also an increasing threat of a second shutdown that will be more severe than what we have already experienced. This is in spite of the fact that by all previous definitions, this was never a real pandemic. Past epidemics were far worse, but there was never a shutdown like this, nor did anyone ever have to wear a bandana as a mark of compliance. In fact, the CDC altered its statistics last week to show that only six percent of the covid deaths, or about 9,000 people in America, have actually died of covid-19 alone. In other words, it is not a true pandemic at all.
If masks worked, then why did they not wear masks every winter during the flu season? More people have died from the regular flu each year than have died from covid-19 here. If masks worked, what is the point of “social distancing”? If masks worked, why do they have to release thousands of inmates so they don’t get sick? If masks worked, why do Christians have to stay in their cars when they go to church? Why do they have to wear masks in the cars and keep the windows rolled up and even park their cars in every other parking spot?
None of these things make sense, because some politicians have gone insane. The best advice is to practice social distancing from the politicians so you don’t get infected by their fear virus. Better yet, boycott CNN and get your news from alternative sources online.
At any rate, we will not subject anyone to such oppressive rules, nor will we put anyone in danger of being arrested. We considered the possibility of finding a hotel in South Dakota, where the state government has retained its sanity, but when we prayed about it, we were led to hold a virtual conference online. It’s not the same as being able to fellowship with friends, which is a very important part of every conference, but at least we are equipped to livestream the teachings.
The hotel will probably cancel all of our reservations automatically, as they did last April, but it would be wise to check with them to make sure.

You may recall last March the Democrats were already insisting upon locking down the country until after the November elections. They think that causing fear will help them blame Trump and thus win the election, but this is backfiring on them, much like the peaceful riots and justified looting (“reparations”) has opened people’s eyes.
