I got back home last evening after a very important and productive trip. I am sorry that I am unable to give you a trip report, as much of what was accomplished was highly confidential. If you have placed book orders in the past week, they will be sent out today. My boys normally do the mail, but they came with me on this trip, so the office was shut down for a week. Otherwise, we usually sent out book orders the same day they are received. Thanks for your patience.
If you have followed my weblogs or read my book, The Wars of the Lord, you will recall that my life changed on December 4/5, 1981. Before that date, to me, is BC (Before Change). After that date, to me, is AD (After Death). I died on that date and rose again a year later on the same date in 1982.
In 1981 I was crucified at Las Cruces, and this was a prophetic type of Passover for me, since Jesus was crucified at Passover. The pattern, as everyone knows, began with the first Passover under Moses, when the first lambs were killed for Passover. Moses then led Israel into the wilderness for 40 years, ending when Joshua led them across the Jordan at the time of Passover.
They had opportunity to enter the Promised Land at Kadesh-barnea, but ten of the twelve spies gave an evil report that showed their lack of faith, and the people believed this evil report. So we read that they had to spend another 38 years in the wilderness (Deuteronomy 2:14). In my own journey, it has now been 38 years since my resurrection on December 4/5, 1982.
Last year I wondered if we might see something happen on the 38-year anniversary of my death experience in 1981, but nothing of note occurred. That was good, because the present endpoint is based on resurrection, rather than upon death. Even so, death and resurrection brings us into something new, as we all have experienced when we became “new creatures” in Christ. This sort of transition brings us onto a higher plane and we should be ready for changes. It is apparent to me that my life has set a prophetic pattern for the body of Christ—at least for the overcomers.
The ministry itself is changing as we move forward. In past year I have written much about the “Open Door” ministry and how this was to bring big changes to the ministry. I believe we are now there, or at least at the start of the change. Keep in mind that we are still in two 76-day cycles of cleansing that will not come fully to an end until early April. Yet it appears that we have crossed the Jordan and are ready to take the land of inheritance.
If all goes as I believe it will, it is unlikely that I will do any more commentaries. I will finish up the series on Isaiah, and that should conclude my curriculum. The 5 books on the Gospel of John will be ready for distribution in the next week or so. Then the last thing needed to tie up the loose ends will be to proof the commentary on Isaiah so we can put it into print.
I expect to do a lot of traveling in the months and years to come. Sometimes I will be able to give a trip report, other times not. But either way, know that the Kingdom is coming and that all of you who have supported this ministry in any way are shareholders in its rewards. Of necessity, next year I will often be out of town and unable to write weblogs, but I will keep you posted as much as I am able.
