Correction: The Jamestown colony was founded on May 13, 1607, not on May 14. I made the alteration on the two previous weblogs. I also added a few details in the first paragraph of yesterday’s weblog.
The year 2007 was an important year, as it was the first full year after the seventh bowl of wine and water being poured out at Babylon, NY. We saw signs of Noah’s flood, and there were also many forest fires in the West. While these physical floods and fires were devastating, they also prophesied of the outpouring of the Spirit.
It was the same with Noah’s flood, which removed the breath (spirit) of life from all flesh and devastated life on earth; yet it also prophesied of a future outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We can note the contrast between flesh and spirit in this. It is the same contrast between physical and spiritual warfare, each of which is conducted under a different covenant. The Old Covenant sword can only separate the head from the body, while the New Covenant sword has the power to separate soul and spirit, bone and marrow (Hebrews 4:12).
By making physical floods and fires a sign of good things to come, God teaches us not to depend upon the flesh with its Old Covenant. We are to see not only the similarity but also the contrast.
Kim Clement’s 2007 Prophecy
On July 14, 2007 the well-known prophet, Kim Clement, prophesied this in California:
“I will cause these next few months to be months of great victory and exposure. The secrets of the Lord shall be revealed… America shall be on her knees because of the wind that I am sending that shall cause a cleansing to take place that could never have happened had there not been the sound of victory in the voices of the people as they praised in the midst of fear, in the midst of terror. Rejoice, for this year many great breakthroughs will cause My people to say, “It has begun!” It surely has begun. The season has come; it is upon us, and it has begun.
“I will open up the heavens, send the rain and the wind. Can you hear the sound? Can you hear the sound of the wind?”
To my knowledge, he was unaware of what we were doing, since our work was largely hidden from the church as a whole. Nonetheless, his word was true: “It has begun!” When he spoke of “these next few months” being “months of great victory,” his word was true. Planting a standard, or banner, is what men do when they take ground from the enemy. It is an act of proclaiming victory to the world. This is what we did in the next few months, as I have shown.
Again, Kim Clement prophesied on August 19, 2007 in Pasadena, California:
“The Spirit of the Lord says, ‘Even as I have sent signs to this nation, signs in the earth, signs from the heavens, great winds of the northeast, fires within the middle of the nation—prepare yourself for one of the greatest harvests ever…
“God is not finished with California, as many would say. God says to you, California, ‘I’ve listened to your cry. I’ve listened to your words of fear. I love you as I always have… I’m shaking the powers of hell, so that you can understand freedom has come to California’.”
This word seems to be most relevant ten years later, beginning in 2017 and continuing to the present time. There is presently a great spiritual shaking in California and throughout the entire nation. Evil is being exposed. The harvest is near, because only at harvest time are the tares fully evident in the wheat field. Jesus’ parable in Matthew 13:24-30 is particularly relevant today.
The instruction in the parable is being fulfilled now. Matthew 13:28-30 speaks of the tares,
28 … The slaves said to him, “Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?” 29 But he said, “No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest, I will say to the reapers, ‘First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn’.”
Perhaps we can say that in 2007 the tares began to be discovered, but they were allowed to remain in the wheat until the harvest. We are now (2021) nearing harvest time, when the tares are being separated from the wheat on many levels.
Yet, as Clement prophesied, “prepare yourself for one of the greatest harvests ever.” I believe he was referring to the work of Elijah/Elisha, which had its origins in the Tabernacles conference in Hawaii. The spiritual birthing that took place there on September 26, 2007 was a prophetic sign (type and shadow) of the actual Elisha work that was to begin on April 12, 2009—to prepare the way.
The Salt Covenant Summit: October 28-31, 2007
In late October 2007 My wife and I went to Oklahoma City for a four-day summit with four other couples—ten of us in all. We spent a good share of our time in prayer and in discussing the word of the Lord. These meetings culminated in a Declaration and a Decree on the night of October 31.
It was precisely 490 years after Martin Luther had nailed his “95 Theses” on the door of the church in Wittenberg on October 31, 1517. The 95 Theses can be read at:
https://www.biblestudytools.com/history/creeds-confessions/luther-95-theses.html
This is what sparked the Protestant Reformation. The main purpose of our meetings in 2007 was to ratify and complete Luther’s work.
We also learned the “ten callings” that were birthed in Hilo two months earlier. Mike received the following word on October 30, 2007:
“For the Ten Callings to function, there needs to be a covenant between them, so their foundation is ME. One will not exalt itself above another but will support and lay down its life for one another. For the fullness to come, all have to be for ME, and then for each other. It involves a commitment to excellence—MY excellence.”
The revelation of the Ten Callings showed that God was changing some of the terminology from our English translations of the New Testament in order to remove some of the excess baggage that the church has placed upon some of the terms. The Ten Callings revealed to us are as follows, in the order in which they were revealed:
1. Apostle
2. Prophet
3. Messenger (bringer of good tidings, replacing “Evangelist”)
4. Fatherhood (replacing “Teacher”, for there are many teachers; few fathers—1 Cor. 4:15)
5. Intercessor
6. Treasurer
7. Recorder (replacing “Scribe”)
8. Servant (replacing “Deacon”)
9. Shepherd (replacing “Pastor”)
10. Overseer (Administrator; replacing “Bishop”)
This does not imply that these ten are the only callings that God recognizes. No, rather, these are just the ones brought to birth on the night of September 26. And all of these callings are expressed by and through many different types of ministries. There are also unique combinations of callings, since many have more than one calling—usually, a primary calling as well as secondary callings.
The Declaration and Decree
In 1517 Martin Luther put the Church and the world on notice when he posted his 95 Theses. In essence, he was following the law of spiritual warfare found in Deuteronomy 20:10, which says, “When you approach a city to fight against it, you shall offer it terms of peace.” In other words, offer a righteous solution that would resolve the dispute according to the mind of God.
Martin Luther did attempt to do this by posting his 95 Theses. While these were yet imperfect, they provided the beginning of a movement that questioned the validity of the worst moral lapses of the Church—that of Indulgences.
Luther himself had little or no revelation about the Feast of Tabernacles—or even Pentecost. God was only beginning to reveal Himself by progression, even as He did with Israel under Moses. Luther’s revelation was primarily a Passover revelation, and in that he was faithful. More is required of us today, simply because more revelation has been given to the Church over the years.
Since the Latter Rain movement in 1948, which brought us the revelation of the feast of Tabernacles, we have been responsible to learn and teach this Word. Most of the Church, however, remains quite ignorant of it, for most denominations have failed to accept revelation that goes beyond that which their founders discovered.
On the evening of October 31, 2007, after spending time in prayer, the Lord instructed us to make a Declaration before the Divine Court, facing NORTH. Three of us (Bob, Dave, and I), were to declare formally that we had each inspected the fruit of the World System (and the Church, which has become a part of it). As “fruit inspectors,” we reported that the economic, spiritual, and political systems were lacking in the fruit of the Spirit. The Declaration went as follows:
“Father, we come before the Divine Court in the name of Jesus and under His blood.
“I (name), come representing the (the economic, spiritual, or political System), with my calling as (Treasurer, Intercessor, or Overseer), and in accordance with (name of one’s angel). I come before you as your Beloved, knowing Your will and that our witness is true. I come before you as a fruit inspector to give a report. I have observed the fruit of the last 490 years and find it lacking.”
After each of the three had given witness to the lack of fruit that God had required of the three main systems of the world/church, we were then led to make the decree, facing SOUTH. Again, each of the three representatives spoke the judgment of God, but in a reverse direction to indicate that this was the voice of God speaking to the world system.
“I decree in the name of Jesus and on behalf of this Court, that because fruit has been found lacking, the authority given to Babylon has been abused. It has not fulfilled its responsibility as decreed in the Divine Court in the allotted time.
“Therefore, I command that the (Spiritual, Political, Economic) System be sold for its theft into the hands of the Overcomers.
“As a result, we ratify the 95 Theses declared through Martin Luther and bring it into the earth.
David: “I decree that the House of God is to be House of Prayer, not a den of thieves.
Stephen: “I decree that the political authorities be subject to me insofar as I am under Christ.
Bob: “I accept the proceeds of this sale on behalf of the Kingdom of God.
“I decree these things in the name of Lord Jesus. I agree and say AMEN.” (Amen by all the witnesses)
It is not possible to describe the reverential hush that fell over us during this time. We had an understanding of the importance and significance of this decree as the words were spoken. I can only say that the Word went forth and will not return "empty" but will accomplish that for which it was sent (Isaiah 55:11).
