The work of the house of Joseph, part 34

Ann Maes was a music teacher at Queens College in New York City. Ann lived in nearby Babylon. I did not know her directly, but she was the daughter of Rhea Maes, a friend living in Mankato, Minnesota, where I had taught the word a number of times.

Ann took her own life on June 4, 2005. It happened that June 4 was the 210^th day of the year, and 210 is the biblical number for distress. It is prophetic of “Jacob’s distress” (Jeremiah 30:7), built upon the two 21-year cycles that Jacob was distressed.

Ann’s first funeral was held at her church, the First Presbyterian Church of Babylon, New York. She then had a second funeral in Mankato on June 11, which my wife and I attended at her mother’s invitation. At the funeral, Rev. Peter Nosbush spoke of Babylon, NY, and this is what made me realize that the seventh bowl of wine was to be poured out at Babylon, NY.

Keep in mind that in June of 2005 we were still preparing to pour out the sixth bowl. But more than a year in advance, God was preparing us for the seventh bowl.

Obtaining Legal Cause

During the funeral, I discerned that Ann’s death had something to do with the seventh bowl of wine upon Babylon. So after the funeral, I told her mother that I believed her daughter represented all of the believers over the centuries who have lived and died in Babylon without seeing the release. I also told her that I felt that her daughter’s death would somehow provide us with the legal cause against Babylon when we were to pour out the bowl in 2006.

In December of 2005 the Lord had revealed that we were to pour out the seventh bowl on October 7, 2006 in Babylon, NY. The previous bowls had been poured out at the end of the feast of Tabernacles, but the seventh was to be poured out on the first day of Tabernacles. As I said, this was 490 days after Ann Maes took her life.

If we had poured out the seventh bowl on October 14, 2006, the eighth day of Tabernacles, it would have been done precisely 490 days after Ann’s funeral in Mankato (June 11, 2005).

The meaning and purpose of the 490-day cycle is explained in Matthew 18:22-35 in the parable of the man who owed 10,000 talents of gold or silver. The debtor was “forgiven” 70 x 7 times, at the end of which time, he was held accountable (Matthew 18:23, 24). So we understood that this Day of Atonement was the time appointed when “Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of wine of His fierce wrath” (Revelation 16:19).

It was somewhat unusual for our heavenly Father to inform us so far ahead of the actual event. But this was unusual, since it involved a 490-day cycle.

Pouring Out the Bowls

A group of about 35 people gathered in Babylon, NY on October 7, 2006. We had received the word of the Lord from Ken to pour out bowls of water, wine, or both at four different locations in the area. They were all cemeteries.

We were to pour out water only at two Catholic cemeteries, signifying an outpouring of the Spirit upon the Catholic Church. We poured out wine only at a Jewish cemetery and again at the Amityville cemetery. The first represented Zionism (though certainly not all Jews are Zionists); the second one at Amityville represented the witchcraft of Babylon.

In studying the area, we learned that Amityville is sacred to the witches of Wicca. “It is here that Ray Buckland, the father of modern Wicca, spread witchcraft throughout the world.”

If you have heard of the movie, The Amityville Horror, this is the Amityville (next to Babylon) where this story occurred. When we finished pouring out the final bowl, we all shouted, “It is done” (Revelation 16:17).

We then went to the Abraham Lincoln Hotel in Reading, PA to hold our Tabernacles conference on Oct. 13-15, with the theme, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty.”

The seventh bowl of water and wine, along with the Tabernacles conference in 2006, put the world on course for the overthrow of Mystery Babylon that now dominates the nations of the earth and keeps the people in bondage, politically and spiritually.

We expected to see the beginnings of this great collapse within the following year. The collapse of economic Babylon began to surface in July 2007 with the sub-prime mortgage meltdown, which later spread to the rest of the economy. By September 11, 2008 the problem was so severe that an emergency meeting was called by the Fed Chairman to prevent a worldwide banking collapse.

The banks were recapitalized by the taxpayers, but the systemic problem was not fixed. Ten years later the system began to reach another crisis point. Babylon’s banking system of debt-money was mortal and needed something entirely new, something based on asset-backed currency, rather than debt-based.

The Transfer of Wealth

The Babylonian rulers labor hard and long in order that they might continue to rule the earth and keep the “little people” as their slaves. The only true solution would be for them to cry out to God. Ultimately, to stop the divine judgment, they would have had to agree to the Kingdom's perfect law of liberty and set aside the Uniform Commercial Code which functions as the Babylonian Constitution and makes merchandise of all men (Revelation 18:13).

Their deadline, however, has passed, and prophecy indicates that their hearts will be hardened so that divine judgment will strip them of their wealth and give it to God’s people—according to the pattern of Pharaoh. The same pattern was repeated in the case of Babylon, for we read in Jeremiah 50:33, 34,

³³ Thus says the Lord of hosts, “The sons of Israel are oppressed; and the sons of Judah as well; and all who took them captive have held them fast. They have refused to let them go. ³⁴ Their redeemer is strong, the Lord [Yahweh] of hosts is His name; He will vigorously plead their case, so that He may bring rest to the earth, but turmoil to the inhabitants of Babylon.”

Just as the old city of Babylon “refused to let them go” after their 70-year sentence had ended, so also has Mystery Babylon done after its 2,520-year time of authority ended in 2017. When we were led to pour out the seventh bowl of wine and water upon Babylon in 2006, we were acting on behalf of God Himself, Who was vigorously pleading this case in the Divine Court.

Our prophetic act in 2006 established the legal fact that Babylon would be overthrown by God Himself. If the modern Babylonians had respected the decisions of God in the Divine Court, they might have been able to retain the wealth that they had accumulated over the centuries on the backs of their slaves. But God has hardened their hearts so that they would be stripped of their wealth, for God intended to send His people out with ample provisions. Deuteronomy 15:12, 13, 14 says,

¹² If your kinsman, a Hebrew man or woman, is sold to you, then he shall serve you six years, but in the seventh year you shall set him free. ¹³ When you set him free, you shall not send him away empty-handed. ¹⁴ You shall furnish him liberally from your flock and from your threshing floor and from your wine vat; you shall give to him as the Lord your God has blessed you.

So also, God told Moses in Exodus 3:21,

²¹ I will grant this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be that when you go, you will not go empty-handed.

It will be interesting to see how God enforces His law in our time.
