There are many things happening behind the scenes that I am unable to write about in a public weblog, but I wanted to share a little with you to encourage you. The Kingdom is coming, and God is raising up and training many for specific functions in His Kingdom. There is much work that yet needs to be done, and this will take years to accomplish; nonetheless, work is being done, and progress is being made.
Our very success, seen only by a few, is creating alarm and even panic in the spiritual world, and this is spilling out into the earthly realm as well. As most of you know, I work with others who are called by God and who have spiritual gifts that are very helpful and even vital if we are to accomplish the huge work that lies ahead of us. The world is changing, and though we are coming into a time of darkness, the light of God shines brightest in the deepest darkness.
We have been trained in the art of spiritual warfare, not only how to use the sword of the Spirit as an offensive weapon but also to use the shield of faith as our defense. My praise report today has more to do with the shield of faith than with the sword of the Spirit.
One particular prophet that I work with is from overseas. Last Saturday, October 30, 2021, he hired a Uber driver to take him into the city to do some business. In coming home, the Uber driver lost his GPS signal, so he pulled to the side and got out of the car, hoping to get a better signal. My prophet friend got out as well. As they were standing near the car, a man walked up to them, pulled out a gun, and shot twice at the prophet at point blank range.
The bullets vaporized somehow, and the prophet was unhurt. The would-be assassin became very frightened and ran away as fast as he could go. (The frightened Uber drive ran away, too!)
We praise God for His protection upon those who are called to do some very important work in preparing for the coming Kingdom. There are some very powerful men who are quite unhappy about losing their spiritual and earthly power in the earth. In the past few years, our local team has been led to pray for protection upon certain ones, including the prophet in question.
Last week, one of us even discerned that someone was in danger of being stabbed or shot, and the discernment peaked last Saturday. It is dangerous business to oppose the rulers of Babylon, who employ witchcraft (or “sorcery,” Revelation 18:23) to maintain their grip on world power. But they are in a state of panic, knowing that their powerful evil spirits are no match for Jesus.
This was not the first attempt on the prophet’s life, and it will probably not be the last. In the past few years we have thwarted at least 3 attempts, each different. Probably the worst one occurred just a month ago when the Babylonian rulers sent a very large and powerful demonic entity to kill the prophet. The attempt failed when Gabriel grabbed this demon and threw him across the room. Even so, it took 3 days for the prophet to recover from a daze.
So here is where you are important to us. Your prayer support is part of our shield of faith, not only for me but for the entire work of ministry that we are doing behind the scenes. So I want to thank you for your faithfulness and let you know that even if you do not know the details of what is being done, you are still part of it and will share in the heavenly reward.
