As most of you know, Pastor Fiaz has been translating my books and tracts into Urdu, the main language in Pakistan. The first 12 tracts that I wrote are now printed in Urdu, both individually and bound in a single book.
We have printed three editions of The Biblical Meaning of Numbers from One to Forty. And now two more have been completed: The Purpose of Resurrection and The Restoration of All Things. These are all in high demand throughout the church in Pakistan. The people seem to be receiving this New Covenant gospel with shock and awe, as many of these teachings have been unknown previously.
The launching ceremony is scheduled for December 13, but once the books were printed, many of the people could not wait. So many books were distributed early.
To prepare for the launching ceremony, they printed up a large banner and sent out invitations to a hundred pastors and teachers. The book on the left with the darker cover, picturing light coming from the empty tomb, is The Purpose of Resurrection. The book on the right is The Restoration of All Things.
(When we reprint the books in English, we will be using these new covers. We are slowly upgrading the artwork on our book covers.)
Invitations have been sent out to the pastors and teachers in the region. Those who come will be given a complete set of books and tracts in a bag that has our name on it. Fiaz is definitely creating a “big splash” as the gospel of the Kingdom is “noised abroad.” He says to convey his sincere gratitude to all of our supporters for making his dream come true.
He had prayed for many years to receive in-depth Bible teaching that he could translate into Urdu. When he came across my book on Numbers, he believed that this would be of great interest to the Pakistani people, as they have a great interest in the meaning of numbers. He asked me if he could translate it, and, of course, I gladly gave him permission.
Then he wanted more material to translate, and I suggested the short tracts, as this would provide a foundation of the New Covenant Restoration message. These created the need for a fuller study, so he translated The Restoration of All Things. Meanwhile, Fiaz had read The Purpose of Resurrection, which he felt was extremely important for teaching.
To build upon these teachings, it has become necessary to translate The Laws of the Second Coming, so that the people begin to learn the origin and prophetic meaning of the feast days. These feasts are the basic outline of all Bible prophecy relative to the two comings of Christ. Studying the feasts also provide the understanding that Darby lacked in 1850 when he conjured up his new “Dispensationalist” theory of the rapture, antichrist, and tribulation in support of his belief that Hagar-Jerusalem was the mother of the church and the capital of the coming Kingdom.
In my view, one cannot understand modern eschatology without seeing how the first coming of Christ fulfilled the Spring feasts and how His second coming will fulfill the Autumn feasts. To study these feast days is to step outside of today’s mainstream Christian teaching. Obviously, this causes conflict, but Jesus did not shrink from such conflict, and we should follow His example.
I am thankful that Pastor Fiaz has taken up this message and is bringing it to the Christians in Pakistan. And we both thank you for your support which makes this possible. I believe that this is just the beginning and that the good news (Gospel) of God’s promises to the world will soon be preached in all nations.
