It is now clear that the Kingdom’s foundations are coinciding with prophetic type of the Second Passover, February 14/15.
It really started on February 10, which is the day for the selection of the lambs (Exodus 12:3), but it is also the day that the Israelites crossed the Jordan River (Joshua 4:19). Recall that the Israelites were then circumcised in the plains of Jericho, and which removed “the reproach of Egypt” from them (Joshua 5:9).
They were incapacitated for 3 days (11th, 12th, and 13th of the month). Then they kept the Passover on the 14th day of the first month (Joshua 5:10). The actual Passover Day was the 15th, when they got their first taste of Kingdom fruits, and the manna ceased the following day, the 16th (Joshua 5:12), which was the wave-sheaf offering, the day that prophesied of Christ’s resurrection.
All of those events prophesied specifically of the events surrounding Jesus’ death and resurrection. It began with the chief priests selecting Jesus as the Lamb the day after His triumphal entry into Jerusalem (Palm Sunday). Recall that on Palm Sunday Jesus threw the moneychangers out of the temple (Mark 11:15-17) and the next verse reads, “The chief priests and the scribes heard this, and began seeking how to destroy Him.”
It appears that they planned these things that same evening, which was the start of the following day (Monday, the 10th).
These events were timed to fulfill the regular Passover. We know that Christ does not have to die a second time, and yet there is a Second Passover as well, which prophesies of the second work of Christ in our time. This is what we are fulfilling now, though almost no one sees what is going on. The reason is because God is covertly doing this work in the second month of our modern calendar—February 10 and 14-16.
Entering the Promised Land
Israel left Egypt on the first Passover day (2/15). Forty years later, Israel crossed the Jordan into the Promised Land—again, at the time of Passover. As you know, I have just completed my own 40-year journey in the wilderness since 1981-1982, so for quite a few years I have wondered what might happen in 2021-2022. The picture is now becoming clear.
Even as the Israelites ate manna in the wilderness for 40 years, so also did Jesus pray, “Give us this day our daily bread” (Matthew 6:11). That “daily bread” was designed to sustain us during our wilderness journey. As long as believers have prayed The Lord’s Prayer, they have confessed being in the wilderness.
However, we are now in the process of entering the Promised Land. On the 10th of the month we received a prayer of protection—in regard to the armor of God—which was posted for all of you to pray. The next day we saw the significance of this prayer, as Bradley was attacked. From a prophetic standpoint, the 11th of the month was the day of circumcision (a painful experience).
The 14th of the month (next Monday) we will experience the (second) Passover as per Numbers 9:10, 11. It is now clear that while Christ was the Lamb at the first Passover 2,000 years ago, we, the body of Christ, are the lambs for the Second Passover. The enemy has marked us for slaughter (Romans 8:36),
36 just as it is written, “For Your sake we are being put to death all day long; we were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
What they mean for evil, God means for good. Having been crucified with Christ already, we are marked in our foreheads by His Name (Revelation 22:4), and so we are protected. The second work of Christ is a living work, not a death work. The law itself prophesies this.
Nonetheless, we are being led to offer a special prayer of protection about 3 pm (CST) on Monday, the 14th. We will use the prayer that we posted on the 10th that was provided by Mike and Kathy. We will also read Psalm 91, which is a psalm written by Moses himself, under whose ministry the Israelites celebrated Passover.
All of you may also participate in this, since we are all in this together.
Resurrection Day
The good news is that the 16th of February is the resurrection day for the Second Passover. It is also the day that the manna ceases, and we are able to eat “the produce from the land” (Joshua 5:12). The Israelites under Joshua were given a new diet; but it is clear now that we will be given a new source of sustenance to build the Kingdom.
It is amazing to me how God uses the enemy to delay things to the appointed time. All of the resistance we have encountered for months (and even years) has only served to put the brakes on our Kingdom vision until the appointed time. So while the enemy thinks that they are effective in delaying the Kingdom, they are playing into God’s hands so that His will may be done at the right time—and not too soon!
I find it comforting to know that God is sovereign and is able to succeed in all that He sets out to do.
