This has been a very productive year for us, though the world at large has seen great political disruptions and economic recessions. The war on Russia, set forth by Brzezinski in his 1997 book, The Grand Chessboard, moved to the forefront in 2022, although at this point the war remains a proxy war in Ukraine.
The kings from the east are slowly dismantling Mystery Babylon. My belief for many years has been that it will take 7 years to accomplish this (2017-2024). The year 2024 is the year that the world comes into Blessed Time.
Book Projects in 2022
Recall that on December 23, 2021, I finished writing the main portion of the long series (which I am calling My Journey). The final book is entitled, The Saints Prepare to Rule. For the whole of 2022 I have been editing this series and am now working on the final book, which is Book 9. The first 8 books have been edited and proofed.
However, I don’t plan to put these into print until I am able to write the final segment, which covers the years 2017-2024.
Furthermore, I plan to go through these books again and add many more pictures. So even the first 8 books are still incomplete. This is a very big project, and I can only work on it a little at a time, because of the daily work that must be done. Spare time is difficult to find.
This project was also interrupted by my commentary on Ephesians, which I wrote from September to November. That too has been edited and proofed twice and only needs a final proof before we can send it to the print shop.
Then there is the commentary on Habakkuk, which I wrote in my FFI articles from July to December.
It seems we are not short on projects. I always dreamed of writing a commentary on all of the books of the Bible, but unless God doubles my life span, that seems unlikely to happen. Nonetheless, what we do will provide Bible study material for those wishing to study those particular books of the Bible. In fact, many are already doing this.
GKM in Pakistan
In 2022 we have taken a great leap forward in our ministry in Pakistan.
Pastor Fiaz is now finishing up his translation of The Sons of God into Urdu. He interrupted his work on The Laws of the Second Coming to do this smaller booklet, but he plans to devote more time to it in 2023 and to finish it. This will be the longest book that he has translated for us, and because it covers the basics of the feast days and their application in eschatology, it will be of great help in spreading the gospel of the Kingdom throughout Pakistan.
In January, we will have to reprint another 2,000 copies of The Biblical Meaning of Numbers. This is the most popular book, as the Pakistani Christians have great interest in numbers.
We have also built a new 2-story GKM ministry center, where people may come to study. It also has a few bedrooms, first so that Fiaz’ family can finally move their beds out of his office, and secondly, so that out-of-town visitors can stay longer while studying the Scriptures. The second floor still needs to be furnished, but the structure itself is now complete.
I have already been taken on a tour of the new building, using Fiaz’ cell phone. But Fiaz will be sending me a video soon, which will take you on a tour of the building.
I have had many face-to-face conversations with Fiaz over telegram. It is usually late at night in Pakistan when he calls, and I have seen his wife and three children sleeping in the background. His children are Jennifer, Jessica, and Abraham. Fiaz is teaching English to his children, especially Jennifer who is the oldest, so that she can eventually translate my books into Urdu as well. Their goal is to translate all of my books into Urdu. I wonder if they will ever catch up with me!
Of course, they are teaching these things in the church, the elementary school, and the Bible school, so they are raising up a generation of students who will understand the gospel of the Kingdom. Fiaz tells me that the children all know me very well.
Beyond this, Fiaz and his teams have traveled to many other churches throughout Pakistan to distribute the books and tracts free of charge. For Christmas, they also sent out 2,000 gift packages of small personal items, and, of course, children love getting gifts. All in all, GKM is getting to be quite well known in Pakistan. Fiaz tells me that I am becoming quite famous there!
Of course, all of this has been made possible by your donations to the ministry. I thank God for you all every day.
Translations into Portuguese
Because of a generous donor who has volunteered to pay for translation work, we have been able to enlist the help of Ruth, a friend and long-time reader in Brazil, who is translating books into Portuguese. She is an English teacher.
Previously, she has done the tract, God’s Promise to You, as well as books, The Laws of the Second Coming and Free Will vs. Ownership. This week, Ruth finished translating The Problem of Evil.
Note: These translations are not currently available on the website, but will be available very shortly.
We are now debating whether to translate the commentary on Deuteronomy (10 books) or Isaiah (9 books). Either way, this will be a long project. These books will be usable not only in Portugal and Brazil but also to the former Portuguese colonies: Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, and an island group called São Tomé and Principe. These are important, because we already have plans to bring the gospel of the Kingdom to these places in the near future.
Spanish Translations
We have more books translated into Spanish than any other language. We have about 20 books in Spanish now. Earlier this month The Problem of Evil was translated and sent to us, thanks again to a friend who volunteered to pay for this translation.
All of these translations are steadily preparing the way for the greater work yet to come.
The Nepal Work
The work in Nepal continues to progress slowly. I hope to have an update next Friday when I am scheduled to talk to Sanjeev online. This will actually be a call to New Zealand, but hopefully, Sanjeev will also be on the call—or perhaps he will fly to New Zealand to join the group call there.
So far, we have not been able to do much more than to lay groundwork for the future in Nepal. Nonetheless, things are happening there.
South Africa
Great things are happening in South Africa. Unfortunately, most of it is too good to report publicly. We learned this past year that whatever I report on a weblog also informs our enemies. I don’t want to give them a progress report which may allow them to delay or stop our work.
