The Great Light

On Thursday evening, March 16, an angel of the Lord came to Bradley with special instructions. He said that he was one of the angels who appeared to Mary Magdalene at Jesus’ tomb on the morning of Christ’s resurrection (John 20:11, 12).

The angel asked, “Why are you looking for the living amongst the dead?” (Luke 24:5).

This was the declaration in Luke’s account that announced the resurrection of Christ. So this declaration was being made a second time on March 16, 2023, this is in conjunction with the second work of Christ.

Then the angel told Bradley, “As never before witnessed by creation, the whole earth is now under the shadow of death.” He went on to speak about a small group of people in earth who had been walking in darkness but had now seen a magnificent light from afar. These people had continued to walk toward that light and, having perceived and understood that God had sent this light, they were to bear witness to the light as a “complete package” through all the earth.

The Kingdom of Light

This light, the angel explained, represents an all-embracing infrastructure, a total order, organized and under the leadership of those who have been preparing for this for most of their lives. It is political, economic, new forms of industry and technology, education, communication, and so much more. In other words, it is the Kingdom as a complete package, not limited to one’s personal experience with God, but is the practical outworking of the inner revelation of the Kingdom.

The work of Kingdom building begins with revelation, faith, and spiritual growth to the place of maturity. Knowing God has an impact and influence upon the world outside of oneself, affecting nations, economies, and societies in every aspect of life.

Those who have this revelation are believers, but the church as a whole has generally repeated the error of Mary—“Why are you looking for the living amongst the dead?” The angel said, “The people of God (the world over) continue to look for life where there is only death.” They keep going through the motions, doing the same things over and over again, hoping that something miraculous (or magical) will happen (such as a rapture).

A related concept is found in Luke 9:59, 60,

⁵⁹ And He said to another, “Follow Me.” But he said, “Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father.” ⁶⁰ And He said to him, “Allow the dead to bury their own dead; but as for you, go and proclaim everywhere the Kingdom of God.”

The shadow of death is comprised of many things, beginning with a complete lack of proper leadership at the top, which filters its way through entire nations. Even believers generally lack the revelation of the Kingdom, because their vision is limited to evangelistic work to save souls. Souls may get saved, but they remain in a dark world (captivity to Babylon), and there is not enough light to turn it into the Kingdom of Light. This is now changing.

Separation of Light and Darkness

There has always been a separation (or distinction) between those who carry the light of Christ and those who walk in darkness. 1 John 1:6, 7 says,

⁶ If we say that we have fellowship [koinonia, “communion”] with Him and yet walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; ⁷ but if we walk in the light, as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another; and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

This speaks of the koinonia of the church, the fellowship of believers. But we are living in the time of the second coming of Christ, where sheep and goat nations will be separated as well, as Jesus prophesied in Matthew 25:32,

³² All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

The day is coming—and is now upon us—when God will again separate the light from the darkness in the earth (Genesis 1:4). This time He is separating whole nations. Those nations that refuse to acknowledge Jesus’ right to be the King will be separated from the Kingdom of Light and be cast out into “outer darkness” (Matthew 8:12; 22:13; 25:30).

This “outer darkness” is not “hell,” as so many have taught. This is that portion of the earth that remains outside of Christ’s Kingdom during the thousand years that lies ahead. In Revelation 20:8 it is called (perhaps figuratively) “Gog and Magog.” John tells us that even after a thousand years there will be nations, living in darkness, that will attack Christ’s Kingdom of Light.

The Kingdom of God will then mount a defense and will take over the opposing kingdoms. Christ will then lay claim to those nations by right of conquest, and this will set up the basis for the great White Throne judgment.

Deep Darkness is Ending

Israel was supposed to be “a light to the nations” (Isaiah 42:6), shining forth the light of truth to those who dwelt in darkness. Unfortunately, most of the Israelites adopted the ways of the nations, leaving very little light in Israel. In my view, the only real light came from the remnant of grace, the overcomers, who numbered just 7,000 people in the days of Elijah (1 Kings 19:18).

Nonetheless, the promise of God came to the prophet in Isaiah 9:2, saying,

² The people who walk in darkness will see a great light; those who live in a dark land, the light will shine on them.

According to Matthew 4:14-16, this prophecy was fulfilled when Jesus preached the gospel of the Kingdom in “Galilee of the Gentiles” and in the territory originally occupied by the tribes of Zebulun and Naphtali. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world” (John 9:5). Likewise, believers in Christ were said to be “the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14). Paul explained this further in 2 Corinthians 4:6, 7,

⁶ For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. ⁷ But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves.

While Jesus personally fulfilled Isaiah’s prophecy in His first coming, we ourselves, as children of light, are part of that fulfillment in the time of Christ’s second coming. That, in fact, was why Jesus called His disciples immediately after Matthew quoted Isaiah’s prophecy.

Unfortunately, in the past 2,000 years, the Dark Ages descended upon the so-called “Christian” nations. Joel 2:1, 2 says, “For the day of the Lord is coming; surely it is near, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness.”

This described the time in which the lost sheep of Israel were scattered among the nations. Ezekiel 34:11, 12 says,

¹¹ For thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. ¹² As a shepherd cares for his herd in the day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will care for My sheep and will deliver them from all the places to which they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy [arafel, “dark”] day.”

As Isaiah 9:2 says, we “live in a dark land.” Isaiah 60:2 says,

² For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the Lord will rise upon you, and His glory will appear upon you.

1 John 1:6, 7 equates light with truth. Truth brings light, and Jesus is the Truth (John 14:6). Because His light is within our “earthen vessels,” we too are carriers of His truth today. But this light grew dim during the Dark Ages. I believe we are now about to see the sun burst over the horizon in a great display of truth accompanied by the power of the Holy Spirit. The light has returned gradually over a period of centuries, even as the dawn breaks slowly.

This light will exceed all past revivals, for it will have an enduring impact upon whole nations. It will transform politics, economics, health, social and judicial systems—to say nothing of religions and Christian denominations. Today’s social insanity, injustice, economic and financial distress, never-ending health crises, energy shortages, and pollution of every kind have all contributed to the “deep darkness” upon the earth.

God has an interest in all of these displays of darkness. He is not merely interested in saving souls. He is interested in removing the darkness of the great tribulation (captivity) that was imposed upon us since the fall of Jerusalem and before, dating back to Adam.

The Great Light

On August 29, 1984, I saw a great light over South Africa. I knew that it was a move of the Spirit, but at the time I could not know how or when it would manifest in the earth. Nonetheless, it was plain that something was going to happen (or begin) in South Africa that would affect Africa and even the whole earth.

The angel that appeared on the evening of March 16 informed Bradley that no matter where in the earth God’s people are, He has created the capacity for people to be connected to this light. In so doing, the angel said, “God will credit to people’s accounts righteous financial wealth.”

God needs no earthly wealth to accomplish His will, nor does He need health practitioners to bring healing. In fact, He needs no prophets to speak His word to us, nor does He need teachers to teach us His word. The Holy Spirit could do all of these things. However, God has chosen to include us in the plan and to involve us in the establishment of His Kingdom. That is His reason for raising up the sons of God and for training them to be His arms, legs, and voice. That is why He refrains from doing everything all by Himself. He wants us involved.

Much of our involvement requires money, carnal as it may be, not just to carry out the work of ministry but also to help those who are in need. Our attitude toward money and its proper use is a big part of our training. From my own experience, I found that the former years of deprivation broke my dependence upon money, as I looked to God for provision. I cannot tell you how many miracles of last-minute provision I experienced, all of which built faith in me that God was my Provision.

That is, in how I was able to “make a deal” with God when He finally called me back into the ministry in 1991-1993. I said, “OK, Father, I will return to the ministry, but I want to make it clear that this is YOUR ministry, not mine, and so I expect You to fund it. I do not want to spend any time raising funds. If You won’t do it, then I will find other work to do.”

That is why I do not normally talk about money, nor do my weblogs and FFI bulletins make appeals for funds. If the ministry has any need, I look to God, not to people, and He has honored this “deal” for 30 years. One of the first words given to me in June 1982 was this: “Always walk in faith, never in fear.” After 12 years of faith-training, He removed all fear of running out of money.

Even so, money is still necessary to do the daily work. What makes the difference is where we put our faith. Our motives are often hidden, even to ourselves, for most ministries operate in fear, thinking they have faith. Faith and fear are often difficult to distinguish.

This brings us to the present situation. In order for this light to shine ever more powerfully, Father God has instigated a massive wealth transfer at this very hour, according to the promise in Isaiah 45:3,

³ I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden wealth of secret places, so that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.

In other words, the wealthy overlords of Mystery Babylon are about to be replaced. While this may seem to be an impossibility in human terms, it is no problem with God. This is the reason the banking system is failing even now. It is not merely a failure of banks. It is God’s takeover. What I saw in 1984 is now coming to pass in ways you could not imagine.

At the time, I saw this light in purely spiritual terms. But it has turned out to be much more than that, because we are at the end of the long captivity to a succession of beast empires (Daniel 7). We are building a Kingdom and a throne according to divine direction. God is using money and the resources of the earth to accomplish this—not just the outpouring of the Spirit. In other words, He is laying claim to the earth and all that is in it, and He expects us to use all of it for His glory—if, indeed, we have been trained to know how to do this.

I will stop here, but I will send out another blog shortly, as God has instructed “whosoever will” to partake of communion at the same time on Saturday, March 25. This communion is a precursor to the Cup of Praise, the fourth cup that Jesus said He would drink with us in His Kingdom. I explained this in the weblog on March 20 regarding Communion.

I believe this will be a major turning point in Kingdom history.
