Having had a few days to ponder the significance of the 490-day cycle from June 11, 2023 to October 12, 2024, I want to share more today as it relates to the 7-year cycle from 2017-2024 and the long cycle of 7 x 490 years since the Jordan crossing. We have had many new readers in recent years, so this review should be helpful to them.
October 12, 2017 was the 8th day of the feast of Tabernacles and the culmination of the Prophetic Year in 2017. I wrote about this later in a weblog:

On October 12, 2017, on the eighth day of Tabernacles, the beast empires of Daniel 7 finally reached the end of their “seven times” contract to rule the earth by means of the Dominion Mandate.
We had given notice to the Babylonian beast system three years earlier, October 12, 2014, to step down and to release the earth from bondage. Knowing the nature of evil, however, we understood that they would not do so. God hardened the hearts of the world rulers in order to have legal cause to strip them of their wealth. (It was the same with Pharaoh in Moses’ day.)
This is really about implementing the Jubilee from a position of authority. No one in a position of authority has ever done this. We ourselves did so in 1996, as led by the Spirit, but at that time, we had received only a small portion of authority after the death of “Saul” in 1993. The rise of the house of David took 7½ years, ending November 30, 2000. Then it took another nine years for the rise of the house of Joseph, ending April 12, 2009.
But then we discovered we had entered the time of the rise of the house of Elisha.
The house of David brought us the dominion mandate (Genesis 49:10). The house of Joseph brought us the birthright (1 Chronicles 5:1,2). The house of Elisha brought us the double portion of Elijah’s prophetic authority (2 Kings 2:9). The combination of all three brought us to the 8th day of Tabernacles, October 12, 2017, when the divine court ruled in our favor and transferred the authority to the overcomers.
However, we knew from Jeremiah 50:33 that Babylon would not comply with the decision of the divine court and that God would have to enforce His word (Jeremiah 50:34). We also knew that this would take 7 years, ending finally in 2024. Delays are never enjoyable, but the Lord taught us from the book of Habakkuk the purpose of delays. Delays are designed to test one’s faith and to separate those who have faith from those who have mere persuasion.
See Habakkuk 1:2 and 2:2-4. Better yet, read my commentary on Habakkuk: Prophet of Faith.
The 7 years from 2017-2024 have not been wasted, nor have we been idle. We have watched God work as the great “Redeemer” (Jeremiah 50:34), as he “vigorously” pleads our case. When the Israelites crossed the Jordan under the leadership of Joshua, it took 7 years of warfare to receive their inheritance. They received it in their first Sabbath year.
It is clear today that we are following a similar pattern today from 2017-2024. For a long time, we had no specific date where this delay might end, so I talked in generalities, “by the end of 2024.” However, the revelation of June 11, 2023 (court case) was a major event in South Africa, which flushed out the beast from the earth (Revelation 13:11). This beast is the final manifestation of the succession of empires (Daniel 7). Just as this beast had been given a 3-year notice in 2014 to give up power in 2017, so also on June 11, 2023 he was given, in a way, his final 490-day notice.
I was informed of the court case the next day, June 12. On June 13 I discovered that the 490th day from June 11 fell on October 12, 2024. On June 14, I looked at the chart on the wall of my office and discovered that this was the Day of Atonement/Jubilee in 2024. As it so often occurs, this was a progressive revelation.
In other words, we have entered into the final 490-day cycle of a 7-year cycle (2017-2024) of a much longer cycle of 7 x 490 years since Joshua’s Jordan crossing. All three cycles end on the same date—the Day of Atonement of 2024.
At this point, we have only a hazy idea of what that endpoint will look like. Nonetheless, we know that there is a direct correlation between the start of a cycle and its endpoint. We have three such starting points to consider: (1) the Jordan crossing, (2) the transfer of authority in 2017, and (3) June 11, 2023. These three cycles all end on the same date, October 12, 2024, which, being the Day of Atonement, is almost at the culmination of the Prophetic Year.
It seems certain that we will be led to declare the Jubilee on October 12, 2024.
After the transfer of authority in October 2017, I wrote a weblog that may be helpful to some of you, as it shares my thoughts at that time.

The Canaanite factor, which Joshua faced long ago, has also emerged in our time, because the Canaanites were a type and shadow of the world of fleshly people. For further understanding of this, see FFI #388, dated September 2020. This gives more details about the 7 x 490 years from the Jordan Crossing to the year 2024.

We are living in very momentous times and are on the edge of world-changing events. That is why there is so much turmoil in the world today. That is why banks around the world are losing their liquidity and most of them are in serious trouble. No one wants to talk about this problem, because if they were to do so, it would cause an immediate bank run, and it would be all over within a few days.
Nonetheless, as aspiring overcomers, we know that the judgment upon Babylon is not directed against us but against the oppressors of the earth. The people of Judah in Daniel’s time might have been fearful when they saw the armies of Cyrus and Darius coming against Babylon, but in the end, Cyrus set them free to return to the old land and to rebuild Jerusalem. We are in a similar position, as we watch the fulfillment of the prophecy in Revelation 16:12 about “the kings from the east.”
We have nothing to fear, then, for we have been given the promise in Psalm 91:5-10,
5 You will not be afraid of the terror by night, or of the arrow that flies by day; 6 of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, or of the destruction that lays waste at noon. 7 A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not approach you. 8 You will only look on with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked. 9 For you have made the Lord, my refuge, even the most High, your dwelling place. 10 No evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent.
