As I was asking God what to write about today, He told me to turn to page 356 of my Bible and to look at verse 9. It was 2 Kings 20:9, regarding the Hezekiah Factor:
9 Isaiah said, “This shall be the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do the thing that He has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps or go back ten steps?”
I went back to the “Archives” link in my website to see what took place around this time in 2013, and the End the Famine prayer campaign jumped out at me. It was a 40-day campaign that began on August 6, 2013, ending on the Day of Atonement in September, repenting for our national sin of broken treaties. You can read about it here:

The year 2013 was a hundred years after the passage of the Federal Reserve Act in 1913. The year 2023 is now “ten steps” beyond that—a Hezekiah Factor. The Federal Reserve Act put the USA (and ultimately the rest of the world) under financial bondage during the Laodicean Church Age. It appears that we may now be approaching the end of this time of bondage. Ten years ago, the prayer campaign was designed to end it spiritually through a prayer campaign. Perhaps now we will actually see the results in the world.
Today in 2023, we see how the financial system is nearing its end under the current regime. Banks are on life support as liquidity is drying up. To put it in prophetic terms, the Euphrates River, running between two banks, is drying up to prepare the way for the kings from the east (Revelation 16:12; Isaiah 44:27, 28). The Fed is now destroying itself as they raise interest rates.
In recent years, banks have bought treasury bonds at near zero percent interest. Then suddenly, the Fed began to raise interest rates at a record pace to encourage banks to buy bonds. This collapsed the market value of the zero-rate bonds, because why would anyone buy a bond that paid a near zero rate when they could buy bonds paying 5½ percent? So the assets of many banks have been reduced accordingly, creating a liquidity shortage. That is one of the main reasons that banks are collapsing.
So when the Lord pointed to 2 Kings 20:9, and I was directed toward the prayer campaign of 2013 and the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, it is possible that God is notifying us of big changes in the banking and financial systems soon to come.
Meanwhile, we have started packing the office, as we have found a new temporary location for the ministry that is just two blocks north of my current office space. We will not move to a more permanent location until after the Tabernacles conference in October.
I am putting together the list of speakers for the conference and making contact with them to see if they are able to be with us.
By the way, I made a couple of changes to yesterday’s weblog about the conference. There is indeed free shuttle service to and from the airport.
