Rosh Hoshana (feast of Trumpets) is the Hebrew New Year. It begins this evening at sundown, September 15 and extends to sundown of September 16. Traditionally, it was the start of creation. In the law, it was the first day of the seventh month, when the seventh trumpet was blown (Leviticus 23:24).
Historically, it was when Jesus Christ was born on September 29, 2 B.C. Prophetically, it will be the day of resurrection in some unknown year, accompanied by the angels blowing trumpets (1 Corinthians 15:52; 1 Thessalonians 4:17). The resurrection will signal a new beginning for the earth, as well as the new birth of the company of overcomers who have died in the past.
Understanding this helps us to be watchful, as Jesus instructed us in Matthew 25:13 KJV,
13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
Hence, the possibility exists for the resurrection to occur in the next day or so. But more often than not, other important events occur each year on Rosh Hoshana that point to the resurrection without actually fulfilling this prophecy in its fullness. For us, incidentally, another king (from Asia) called John and wants to meet with him this weekend in South Africa. The precise schedule has not yet been determined, but it seems to be coinciding with Rosh Hoshana.
In addition, because there are 24 time zones in the world, we cannot say for sure which hour the resurrection itself will occur when it does. Most assume it will occur on Jerusalem time, but because we live in a New Jerusalem era, I remain unsure.
Rosh Hoshana is the first day of the seventh lunar month. In biblical times, the priests blew a trumpet in the evening at sundown when they observed the first crescent moon on the horizon, which signaled the evening of the first day of the new month.
After this comes Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement on the 10th day of the 7th month. Then 5 days later the feast of Tabernacles (Sukkoth) begins and extends for 8 days. This year Tabernacles goes from September 30 to October 7. Tabernacles, of course, prophesies of the living overcomers who will be “changed” into the image of Christ on the first day and will essentially be reborn.
This change in the living overcomers will allow them to be united as one body with the resurrected saints, so that the Head can come to be rejoiced with the Body in the middle of the feast of Tabernacles. Hence, Christ came to His temple in the midst of the feast (John 7:2, 14). Once this Body is complete, then it will be presented to the Father on the 8th day of Tabernacles, according to the law (Exodus 22:29, 30).
It would be great to see these things happen in 2023, but it appears that lesser events are scheduled at this time. Nonetheless, we should all be aware of the feast day prophecies so that we can be watchful. Most Christians remain unaware, because they have never really studied the feast days. In fact, they have replaced the feasts with the rapture theory, which takes them in a different direction and distorts the prophecies of the second coming.
Keep in mind also that Rosh Hoshana 2023 is the beginning of the year 2024, which in turn is 70 Jubilees since the Jordan crossing under Joshua. The year 2024 marks the end of a very long time cycle, and it signifies the redemption of the nations. See FFI #388.
We began to prepare for 2024 back in 2017 when, by other prophetic cycles, the legal transfer of authority from the beast systems to the saints of the Most High was declared in the Divine Court. That was October 12, 2017, the 8th day of Tabernacles that year. I told everyone at that time that this would take 7 years to implement, and that it would not fully manifest until 2024. We are now almost there, and we are seeing the emergence of this transfer of authority taking place on a very practical level.
What has astonished me the most is that many world leaders (political and financial) are not only recognizing our authority but are also enthusiastic about assisting us. I have had to reorient my thinking. Growing up, I assumed that when Christ returned, He would have to make war on the Babylonians and “destroy” them. This was always the way the church pictured it.
Then I realized that Babylon fell intact, and this began to change my perspective. Yet only this year (2023) have we seen how the transfer of authority is being welcomed by all but the Satanist rulers of Babylon (who represent Belshazzar in prophecy). Most of the political and financial leaders understand that the world’s Babylonian system is collapsing in front of them, and they see us as their only hope. Of course, most of them have little comprehension of prophecy or the Kingdom of God itself, so they still look to us rather than to Christ. Nonetheless, they will see more light as time goes on.
As for you, I know how impossible this appears to be. I have to withhold most of the information about how God has actually done this. In fact, I often wonder if I should be saying anything at all about it, just because it sounds so absurd. But I have seen firsthand that “with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26). We have prepared for this day for decades, not knowing how it would turn out in practical terms. Now that we are able to see how God’s oath is being fulfilled, it is marvelous in our eyes.
