We knew from the start that the Israeli government intended to push the Palestinians out of Gaza into Egypt. When Palestinians were told to evacuate the northern part of Gaza and move south, we knew that this was just the beginning. Israel had no intention of allowing them to remain in the southern part of Gaza.
Now that more than a million refugees have landed in Rafah, at the Egyptian border, the IDF is now bombing Rafah under the pretext that there are 4 battalions of Hamas soldiers mixed in with the population. Netanyahu, of course, is trying to force Egypt to open its borders and to resettle all of the Palestinians in the Sinai. The threat is that if Egypt does not open its border, then the IDF will kill all of the Palestinians in Gaza.
Egypt is now moving tanks to the border and plans to erect a secondary wall, in case the Israelis open the border. Keep in mind that the Israelis actually control the Rafah border, so the Egyptians are forced to erect a secondary border that they themselves control. In addition, Egypt has warned that if the Israelis go ahead with their plan, they will cancel the Camp David Accords that were made in 1979 between Sadat and Begin. The Israelis are making more enemies than they need.
This Israeli policy is classic ethnic cleansing, which, by all standards, is a war crime. Yet the Israelis think that they are exempt from international law. The rest of the world, with the exception of the US and the UK, does not see it that way. Neither does the International Court of Justice. Esau-Edom (the Israeli state) is proving himself unworthy to hold the birthright and the birthright name, Israel. Edom’s cup of iniquity is almost full. Judgment is coming.
King Herod was half Edomite. His dynasty is know to historians as the Edomite dynasty. King Herod slaughtered the children of Bethlehem, while Joseph and Mary took Jesus and fled to Egypt. This seems reminiscent of what the Edomite-Zionist Israeli government is doing to the Palestinian people. It is the same murderous spirit.
Meanwhile, the US continues to fund the Israeli war crimes, even while Biden mumbles something about their actions being “over the top.” That’s like scolding a man for throwing a grenade into a crowd of people in order to kill one “enemy.” As usual, they say one thing and do another. Biden has to choose between his Zionist donors and his Muslim voters.
As for Christians, they must choose whether they support the Old Covenant or the New. Are we to follow the mandate given to Joshua or follow the Great Commission that Yeshua/Jesus gave the disciples? Shall we support genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians? God forbid!
They must decide what it means to be “chosen.” Is it race based or faith based?
They must decide if the Jews are the biblical Israelites, or if the biblical Israelites are the ten tribes of the House of Israel.
They must decide if “the return” is a return to the old land or a return to God and to Christ.
They must decide if the land promised to Abraham was an earthly country and an earthly city or a heavenly country/city under “better” promises (Hebrews 11). Do we have the faith of Abraham or is our faith misplaced?
What men believe will have consequences. Faith in itself is meaningless. It depends on where we place our faith. What we believe can be either the truth or a lie. To believe a lie is not the type of faith that has merit with God. We must know the word of God and act upon it. That is true faith.
