Today is America’s Election Day. I expect that no matter who wins, the loser will contest the election when the Electoral College meets next month to certify the elections results. I think we will graduate from the silly season to a season of chaos.
Last night the Lord showed me how to proceed with the third book in the trilogy that I am writing. After Milk and Meat, I plan to write the third book on the filet mignon of the Word. My intention is to show how the judicial, economic, religious, and political fabric of society was set forth in the law and in the structure of the tribes of Israel.
These basic foundations of the Kingdom were established when Israel was a small nation in a small territory that was a model for Kingdom building today. Even back then, there was room for political development, moving from the loose federation of tribes under Judges into the time of the monarchy. So also we must look to further developments (changes in the law, as the book of Hebrews would say) under the New Covenant.
These changes were necessary to accommodate an increase in population, as well as an expansion in scope from a tiny strip of land (Canaan) to Christ’s world-wide Kingdom. Of necessity, the Kingdom is expanded beyond mere tribes of Israel to include all nations. The kings and priests of Israel used to rule the Kingdom according to genealogical requirements, but under the New Covenant the Melchizedek Order of King-Priests are the overcoming remnant who reign under Jesus Christ.
Having completed the studies on the Meat of the Word, which deals largely with types and shadows and the changes from the Old Covenant to the new, we now have sufficient background to eat prime rib without choking on it. The types and shadows that we have already studied may be compared to hamburger (ground beef), while filet mignon is a better cut of meat. Hence, while the book of Hebrews presents to us a “better” form of the law, my intention is to provide a still “better” application that brings its relevance for the next thousand years in the Tabernacles Age.
Meanwhile, because of my physical condition, I still have difficulty sitting at the computer for any length of time. All the weight that I lost from August 2023 to June 2024 has left me with very little personal padding, and after about 2 hours of sitting, I have to lie down and stretch my legs. This is not difficult to do, of course, but it cuts my work time in half each day. After writing a blog, I am left with little time to edit them and put these blogs into book form, to say nothing of the time I must spend to keep up with current events.
To make matters worse, after the Tabernacles conference, all of my book files disappeared from my hard drive and still have not been restored. We will restore them at some point, of course, because we have everything stored in the cloud and in redundant backup systems. Nonetheless, this has prevented me from working on the editing process, since I cannot edit what is not on my hard drive on my computer.
I still have to format and edit the books on Philippians and Micah as well. These will eventually be put in print, so I appreciate your patience.
