More details and developments are now emerging regarding Trump’s plan for Gaza.
The plan calls for a “temporary” removal of Palestinians while it is being rebuilt. It has been said for years that there is nothing so permanent as a temporary government program. Case in point: Nixon’s temporary suspension of gold convertibility in 1971.
Second, Trump is openly talking about foreign investment in building projects in Gaza. Are these investors going to rebuild homes for the Palestinians so that they may return to Gaza? No, those investors will want to own the properties for themselves.
If they were truly sincere in moving Palestinians out of harm’s way, then why not send them to the West Bank, where a counterfeit Palestinian state now exists? President Abbas of Palestine is a proxy for the Israeli government and has no power to give Palestine any self-determination. The West Bank is currently being occupied by 800,000 Israeli settlers, who are technical illegal aliens but are openly supported by the Israeli government that claims the land for itself.
Third, it is now clear that Trump does not want any US troops there, because they do not want to have any American casualties. The Israeli army will move in and expel the Palestinians—or kill them if they refuse to leave. How does this differ from the previous plan? They have been trying to do this for more than a year. The main difference is that now Netanyahu has the open backing of President Trump, whereas Biden consented to it more covertly.
Trump might be trying to find a humanitarian solution, but unless he sends in US troops, you can be sure that the war crimes will continue under Israeli authority.
Fourth, the original UN Resolution in 1947 called for a two-state solution, each having the “right to exist.” But after decades of hearing claims about Israel’s right to exist, a western mindset has displaced any Palestinian right to exist. Trump’s plan reinforces this.
Netanyahu complains that Gaza has been called an “open prison camp.” He says the reason is that it is self-imposed, because most Palestinians do not want to leave. That is because they are not allowed to move back and forth. Once they leave, they lose the right to move back to their homes. If they were to be removed to the Sinai in Egypt, this rule would be enforced. So it is clear that this ethnic cleansing would be permanent, not temporary.
The Gaza plan, if successful, would then apply equally to the West Bank of Palestine. In fact, that plan has already started, as Israeli troops have again marched into Jenin and are fighting the Palestinians in their own homeland.
Overall, the intent of the Zionists has not changed. It is to displace all Palestinians with Jews, not just from the river to the sea but also north into Lebanon and Syria from the Nile to the Euphrates. These two rivers are represented by the upper and lower blue bars on the Israeli flag.
The 1947 UN Resolution proved useful to the Israelis, as it gave them a foothold in the land. But once they became entrenched, they started “defensive” wars to grab more land. There is nothing so offensive as a defensive war. Even the US Department of War changed its name after World War 2 and now calls itself the Department of Defense. This “defense” has always been the excuse to invade foreign countries who refused to submit to the hegemony of the US government.
Jewish Zionists and Christian Zionists alike are not at all impressed with the facts of genocide or ethnic cleansing. This is why it vital to understand the biblical history of Esau-Edom and how the Jews conquered Edom in 126 B.C. Edom was incorporated into Judea, and the Edomite population was forced to convert to Judaism. Look up Edom or Idumea in any encyclopedia or in any history book.
It is only when we understand the prophetic and legal implications of this Judah-Edom merger that we can begin to understand what is actually happening today. We must also understand the difference between Judah and Israel in prophetic literature. Note the difference especially in Jeremiah 18 and 19. Jeremiah 18:1-10 is a prophecy directed toward the northern ten tribes of Israel, while the rest of Jeremiah 18 and all of chapter 19 are directed toward Judah and Jerusalem.
The state calling itself Israel has no right to point to Jeremiah 18:1-10, not even if they call themselves Israel. They are a combination of Judah and Edom, both of whom are slated for destruction. See Jeremiah 19:10, 11, where Jerusalem and its people are compared to an old clay jar that will be smashed so completely that it will never again be repaired.
If any Christian doubts those prophecies, then read Galatians 4, where Paul tells us plainly that the earthly Jerusalem is Hagar, not Sarah, and must be “cast out” in the end. Paul was not referring to one’s biological ethnicity but one’s legal status. The children of the flesh will not be heirs with the children of the Spirit (“Sarah”).
All of these biblical teachings point to the plain fact that the Israeli state will not survive much longer. Anyone considering a move to the Israeli state should reconsider their plans. It is not the safest place in the world (as I was taught as a child). It is not a righteous nation. Christ will not come at the last minute to rescue them from destruction. The genocidal nature of Zionism does not please God at all, nor will it overrule God’s word through the prophets.
