When the United Nations voted to partition Palestine on November 29, 1947, the evangelical Christians in America rejoiced, believing it was the fulfillment of Bible prophecies about the restoration of the house of Israel.
In recent years, however, they have begun criticizing the partition itself, claiming that the Zionists must have ALL of the territory, leaving the Palestinians with NOTHING. By pushing for the genocide or expulsion of all Palestinians, they undermine the very resolution that created the Israeli state in the first place.
The Zionist government never intended to settle for their portion of the land. They have always wanted it all, and for this reason they have mistreated the Palestinians, hoping to instigate their retaliation, which they can then label as hatred and “terrorism.” Gaza itself was a refugee camp for those who were driven from their homes and villages in 1948. It has since turned into a concentration camp.
It is the Zionists who are the real terrorists. In fact, they invented modern terrorism in 1930’s and 1940’s. Palestinian terrorists later learned their skills by studying Israeli terrorism. Yet Christian Zionists condemn Palestinians as if they started the problem. Let me remind you that the problem was not Palestinians immigrating to Europe to take over land owned by Jews. It was the other way around. The problem did not begin with the Palestinians, but when they reacted to injustice, they were the ones labeled as terrorists.
Christian Zionists, however, justify their support of genocide by their misreading of Bible prophecy and by not understanding the difference between a Jew and an Israelite. Neither do they comprehend the greater revelation of the mind of God revealed through the New Covenant. They think that Jews are “almost Christians,” when in fact the Zionist Christians are almost Jews. In actuality, Christians are reverting to Judaism and Old Covenant thinking, in spite of Paul’s epistles that warn the church of this very danger!
Here is an example of evangelical thinking, which deplores the idea of allowing any Palestinian to keep his land:

This September, the world will take one more dangerous step toward disaster.
At the United Nations General Assembly, a growing coalition of nations—once counted as friends of Israel—will formally push to recognize a Palestinian state. Canada. France. The United Kingdom. Nations who once stood against terrorism are now preparing to reward it with legitimacy, flags, and U.N. seats.
Make no mistake: this is not about peace. It’s about power. It’s about appeasing an ideology that has raised its children to hate Jews and murder Israelis. And it’s about something even more sobering for believers: this is another step to fulfilling bible prophecy.
