The Resurrection of Joseph

FFI Header

Issue #268November 2010

The Resurrection of Joseph

In 2009 we began to see many signs related to Joseph. There was the Passover conference in Manassas, VA on April 10-12, 2009, where God had us begin to focus on Joseph as revealed by his son Manasseh. His name means “forgetfulness,” so the conference was designed to cause to remember Joseph who seemed to have been lost.

We held a second Passover conference a year later in Manassas, VA from April 2-4, 2010. On the last day of the conference, we anointed and prayed a special prayer of protection upon the people.

The next day, April 5, there was an explosion in the Upper Big Branch South Mine in West Virginia, which killed 29 miners. We did not understand its connection to our prayer for protection until August, when the San Jose mine in Chile collapsed, trapping 33 miners. The disaster occurred August 5, and the miners were rescued on October 13. By this time we were we able to see clearly the connection between the two disasters.

Both mining disasters were associated with Joseph. The WV disaster occurred at our Manassas conference. The San Jose mine literally is named after “Saint Joseph.”

We are planning a third Manassas conference next Spring at the time of Passover. This will provide the third witness to the Manassas revelation as we watch for signs that Joseph is emerging from the grave.

Hidden Treasure Found

The FFI #256 dated November 2009 was entitled, The Hidden Treasure Found. It was about the signs of Joseph being found, and with him, the Birthright. The coins were discovered in an Egyptian museum showing Joseph’s picture on one side, with wheat and cows on the other (reminding us of Pharaoh’s dreams that he interpreted).

The public announcement came on Sept. 24, 2009, the same day that a second announcement was made in Britain that they had found a large “Anglo-Saxon Gold Hoard” buried in a field near Staffordshire. We related this to Matt. 13:44, the short parable about the treasure hidden in the field.

In one sense the treasure is Joseph himself, because Pharaoh had renamed him Zaphnath-paaneah, “Hidden Treasure of the Glorious Rest.” The root word of his name is Zaphan, or Tsaphan, “to hide (by covering over).”

Joseph was the Birthright holder (1 Chron. 5:1, 2), as witnessed by his coat of many colors. When he was sold into Egypt, he was presumed to be dead and lost forever. Thus, when he was found at the end of 21 years, it was as if he had been raised from the dead. Jacob-Israel himself testified of this in Gen. 45:28,

28 Then Israel said, “It is enough; my son Joseph is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.”

In another sense, the treasure is the Birthright itself, since it is difficult to separate the Birthright from the Birthright Holder. Paul speaks of this treasure in reference to the story of Gideon, who told his army to put a torch into earthen vessels (Judg. 7:16). He says in 2 Cor. 4:6, 7,

6 For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels….

Hence, the light and glory of God within us is also the treasure. The glory of God is our Birthright. Our personal Birthright Holder (“Joseph”) is “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col. 1:27).

For this reason, the re-discovery of Joseph cannot be separated from the manifestation of the Sons of God. It is the birth of the Manchild—Christ in you. This birth is also pictured as a resurrection. Joseph is alive from the dead.

So the Manassas conferences speak prophetically of Joseph and the inheritance, or the Birthright. Next Spring will be the third witness of this, and so we believe that 2009-2011 is important in the history of the Kingdom.

San Jose Conference in March 2010

We were also led to hold a conference in San Jose, CA on March 5-7, 2010. The name means Saint Joseph, and so we knew once again that God was drawing our attention to Joseph. After the conference, we were led to go to the Rubicon River, because the Father had revealed that we were “crossing the Rubicon.”

This expression means to go past the point of no return. We gathered at the place where the Rubicon joins with the American River not far from Sacramento, CA.

Looking back at this, we can see that the conference in San Jose has a connection with the miners trapped and saved recently from the San Jose mine in Chile. The joining of the two rivers (Rubicon and American) hinted of the purpose of the next California conference now being planned. It is to be a “Manna and Quail” conference that joins the two streams of the Spirit: Knowing the Word and the Glory of God. This was my topic in the October FFI.

I believe that when we “crossed the Rubicon” on March 8, 2010, we reached the point of no return in combining the knowledge of the divine plan with the power and glory of God. This is expressed by the prophet Habakkuk 2:14,

14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.

It is not merely the fact that the glory of the Lord will fill the earth, but that this will be known and understood, because we know the Word and His plan for the earth.

Our particular “stream” has been to teach the Word and to know the divine plan. But there is another stream that has emphasized the glory of God being manifested in the earth. We have known about this glory, because it is really all about Sonship—Christ in you, the hope of GLORY. We are the channels and administrators of His glory and are called to distribute that glory throughout the earth. This is the calling of Abraham since the beginning.

The Sign of the San Jose Mine Rescue

On August 5, 2010 the Mina San Jose near Santiago, Chile collapsed, trapping 33 miners far underground. The rescue squad began drilling a shaft on August 30, and the miners were all rescued on October 13, which was the 70th day since the disaster.

The number 33 is the biblical number for a SIGN. In years past, before doing my own independent research on this number, I read other men’s writings, who said that 33 was the biblical number of “promise.” However, they had very little evidence of this. So when I finally found time to do my own prayerful research, I saw it differently.

The 33rd time that Noah’s name is mentioned is in Gen. 9:17, saying, “This is the SIGN of the covenant.”

The 33rd time Abraham’s name is mentioned is in Gen. 20:18, where God “closed fast all the wombs of the household of Abimelech because of Sarah.” This was a SIGN that the prophecy to Sarah was not to be fulfilled through the Philistine king who had taken her into his harem. It was to be fulfilled through Abraham.

The 33rd time that Isaac is mentioned is in Gen. 26:1. This passage gives us the SIGN of the stars of heaven to show him that his seed would become numerous. The stars were the SIGN of Isaac’s children.

The 33rd time that Jacob’s name is mentioned is in Gen. 28:20-22, where the anointed stone is the SIGN, or a type of Christ.

In Acts 10:18 Peter is mentioned for the 33rd time and was given a vision of the sheet with unclean animals in it. This was a SIGN to him that he should go to Caesarea and to meet with the Roman centurion, Cornelius.

The 33rd time that Paul’s name is mentioned is in Acts 17:2, where it explains the Old Testament SIGNS proving Jesus to be the Messiah.

It is easy to see where some might identify 33 with a promise, since a sign is not only a double witness but also bears witness to a prophecy or promise. However, in praying about this, the Father confirmed to me that the number ought to be thought of in terms of a SIGN.

Therefore, the 33 miners are a prophetic SIGN of things to come. It is about death and resurrection. And because this sign took place at the San Jose mine, it is linked to the resurrection of Joseph.

Resurrection is the overcoming of death. Hence, on another level, we note that it is also about the overthrow of Babylon, the place of national death for Judah. When Babylon was finally overthrown by Darius the Mede in Daniel 5:31, the hand appeared at Belshazzar’s booze party and wrote: Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin.

When we translate these Aramaic words into Hebrew, it is: Mina, Mina, Shekel, Peres. These are varying amounts of money in those days that add up to 2,520 gerahs.

So it is of interest that the Spanish word for “mine” is MINA. This could well be a sign of the handwriting on the wall, indicating that Babylon is on the eve of collapse.

Remember too that the Hebrew word for God is EL, and this is also Spanish for the. In Greek, God is Theos, from which we derive our English word “the.” Every time we say “THE chair” or “THE house,” we are identifying it as being owned by God.

The Concepción Earthquake

Earlier this year on February 27 Chile was hit by an 8.8 Richter earthquake just south of Santiago. The city of Concepción was displaced about ten feet west. The name of the city means “conception,” and has to do with the birth of Christ—or the Manchild.

This quake was the fifth most powerful quake known to hit the earth since 1900.

Santiago is near the San Jose mine, which appears to connect the two events—earthquake and mine collapse. They are connected by the symbolism of each. The quake spoke of the conception of the Manchild, while the rescue of the miners spoke of a birthing, according to news accounts.

The Birth of Hope

Before anyone was rescued, a man named Manuel (Spanish for Immanuel) went down into the mine and remained there while all the others were rescued. Does this not remind us of how Christ—Immanuel—descended into Hades (Acts 2:27) in order to rescue us from death?

The rescue capsule was named the Phoenix (or “Fenix”), which was a mythological bird symbolizing resurrection. One account quoted the Mining Minister, Laurence Golborne, as saying,

“We called it Phoenix because it will be like a rebirth, a new life for the miners.”

Other reports said, “the earth is rebirthing the miners.” Indeed, it was about birthing, because the wife of one of the miners gave birth on the 42nd day, Sept. 15. They named the baby Esperanza, “Hope.” We read in Matt. 1:17 that Christ is the 42nd generation from Abraham. If you count the names given, there are only 41 to Jesus, but “Christ” (that is, the body of Christ, the Manchild) is the 42nd generation.

We are that generation. It is the generation prophesied in the great chapter regarding the crucifixion of Christ. Psalm 22:30 says,

30 A seed shall serve Him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

Again, in Isaiah 53 we read of this generation that comes forth as the result of His suffering on the cross. Verse 10 says,

10 But the Lord was pleased to crush Him, putting Him to grief; if He would render Himself as a guilt offering, He will see His offspring . . .

In other words, if He would become the Sacrifice for sin, the result would be that “He will see His offspring.” The Sons of God would be conceived and brought to birth as a result of His work on the cross. That is the 42nd generation. It is “Christ in you, the HOPE of glory” (Col. 1:27). For this reason, the baby born on the 42nd day is HOPE.

His father’s name is Ariel, “the lion of God,” because Christ in us has been conceived by the Spirit of Christ, who came as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

Hope’s mother is Elisabeth, “my God has sworn an oath,” that is, He has promised something to give us Hope.

Thus, when each miner was brought to the surface, the horns blew like trumpet blasts, for we read in 1 Cor. 15:52 that “the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.”

Finally, the debts of each miner were cancelled. They received a Jubilee.

This was a copper and gold mine, and copper is the biblical metal of judgment, while gold is divine nature. The combination shows us that through the judgments of God, the dead are raised to life and given the divine nature.

The Significance of the Rescue Date

The rescue operation was done on 10/13/10. Those numbers add up to 33, showing once again that even the date was important as a sign.

The date was the 286th day of the year. Those who have studied the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt will recognize that number, because it is the so-called “Displacement Factor” of the Pyramid itself.

The Pyramid’s base was built 286.1 inches too small, so when it came time to place the capstone on it, it did not fit. Thus, the capstone was too large and was never placed on it but was “rejected.” This became a biblical symbol for the rejection of Christ in Psalm 118:22,

22 The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner.

The head of the corner is the top (“head”) of a pyramid. It represented Christ, while the Pyramid itself was the Body of Christ. As long as the Body had a displacement factor (286), the Pyramid would never fit as its Head.

Thus, the “Displacement Factor” of 286 represents the imperfection in the Body of Christ. It also represents the “Rectification Factor,” in order to rectify the situation.

This symbolic number is seen in the date of Oct. 13, for it is the 286th day of the year. This is a SIGN to us that the resurrection of the Joseph company is connected to the birth of the Manchild and the redemption of our body, which is our “Hope” (Rom. 8:23). Through sin we have been displaced from our position as heirs of the Birthright. But when this displacement factor is rectified (286), we will receive our inheritance as heirs of the promise.

This pyramid itself, located in the center of Egypt at the border of Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt, is prophesied in Isaiah 19:19 and 20, saying,

19 In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the Lord near its border. 20 And it will become a sign and a witness to the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to the Lord because of oppressors, and He will send them a Savior and a Champion, and He will deliver them.

The numeric value of this passage adds up to 5449, which is the height of this pyramid in inches. The pyramid is a heap of stones, much like an altar to the Lord. It was originally encased in white limestone, making it appear like a White Mountain.

Jesus went to a White Mountain also to be transfigured. First He took His disciples to Caesarea Philippi, which was at the base of Mount Hermon. (See Matt. 16:13.) From there He took His disciples up the mount, where He was transfigured (Matt. 17:1, 2).

Today Mount Hermon is called Liban (or Lebanon), “White.” It was the White Mountain. When He came as the Capstone on the White Mountain, He was picturing the rectification of the Displacement Factor on the Great Pyramid.

Wittenberg is the White Mountain

When Martin Luther nailed his “95 theses” on the door of the church at Wittenberg on October 31, 1517, he was coming against the love of money that had gripped the church in those days. His main complaint was that the church was selling heaven and the forgiveness of sins, as if forgiveness could be purchased by money.

This act caused the Pope to send him a decree known as Exsurge Domine. Luther’s deadline to respond was Dec. 11, 1520. On that date, he burned the papal decree. The pope then excommunicated him on January 3, 1521. These dates are important to us, because we live 490 years later.

On October 31, 2007, Meredith Whitney (“white”) published an article exposing CITIBANK’s precarious position as the result of its large exposure to subprime mortgages and derivatives. This was the beginning of the banking crisis of 2008, which saw the collapse of Lehman Brothers, AIG, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in September of 2008.

It was all about the love of money once again.

Thus, from Wittenberg to Whitney was precisely 490 years to the day.

We are now coming to the final set of dates 490 years after the papal bull was burned (Dec. 11) and Luther was excommunicated (Jan. 3). These are dates to watch, because Luther’s excommunication marks the date of his Passover experience—being kicked out of “Egypt” over the issue of justification by faith in the blood of the Lamb.

This event sparked the Protestant Reformation, which was the exodus from slavery in the Roman Church. God then began to lead these people as a new “church in the wilderness” for 490 years to the present time.

God revealed baptism and holiness (“the Red Sea”), then revealed Himself as the great Healer (Marah, Ex. 15:26). After this, God took them to Elim, the place of 70 palms and 12 wells of salvation, dealing with the 70 nations of the earth (Gen. 10). Then came Pentecost (Sinai), which was given to the church in 1900. Next was the time of the 12 spies (Latter Rain Movement, 1948-1952). Now we are looking to enter the Promised Land.

This has been a long process of 490 years since our departure from “Egypt.” We are again reminded of the White Mountain through the event on Oct. 13, the 286th day of the year.

The 70 Nations Restored

The miners at the San Jose mine were rescued on the 70th day. This is the number of all the nations in Gen. 10, so it is a universal number. Likewise, the glory of God is represented by the number 1000, which in Greek is chilias (Chile). Adam died 70 years short of 1000, falling short of the glory of God. He was 930 when he died (Gen. 5:5).

Hence, 70 is also a restoration number. Putting together these two examples, we see 70 as the number of the restoration of all the nations, i.e., the whole earth being filled with His glory. It starts with the restoration of the Birthright of Joseph as pictured by his re-discovery in the signs of the past year.

We seem to be getting very close to achieving our Hope.
